What is Predefined Rulesets?
What does 'Predefined Rulesets' mean?
Bundles of attack-detection rules shipped and maintained by the vendor so a firewall blocks common threats out of the box, without the customer writing rules by hand. Sets typically map to well-known risks such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and bot traffic, and are updated as new exploits appear. Administrators can usually enable, disable, or run individual rules in monitor-only mode to limit false positives.
