What does 'Image Triage' mean?
Image triage is software reading a study as soon as it is acquired and sorting it by how likely a time-critical finding is present, so a suspected large vessel occlusion or haemorrhage reaches a reader ahead of a routine follow-up. Read the labelling closely on this capability. Several products state in their own indications that identification of a suspected finding is for notification only and not for diagnostic use, which means triage changes the order of the reading list rather than the diagnosis itself.
