What is Durable Execution?
What does 'Durable Execution' mean?
Durable execution means the state of a run is written down at each step, so a run that dies partway through can carry on from the last completed step rather than starting again. It matters most for long work: an agent that spends 40 minutes across 30 API calls is expensive to repeat, and without checkpoints a single timeout costs the whole run.
