What is Document Comparison?

What does 'Document Comparison' mean?

Document comparison puts two or more versions of an agreement side by side and reports what changed in substance rather than only in wording, so a lawyer sees which positions moved. The useful version of this works across many documents at once: comparing one received redline against the firm's standard, or a whole closing set against past deals. Compare how changes are grouped and whether the output can be exported for a client update.
