What is DICOM Viewer?
What does 'DICOM Viewer' mean?
DICOM is the standard file and transfer format used for medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds. A DICOM viewer lets clinicians open those studies inside the practice or records system itself, scroll through image series, zoom, measure and window the contrast, without exporting them to separate imaging software.
