What does 'Dataset Versioning' mean?
Keeping tracked, immutable snapshots of the data used to train and evaluate a model, so any given experiment can be tied to the exact data it saw. Each change to the dataset produces a new version with its own identifier, and older versions remain retrievable. This is what makes a training run reproducible and lets a team tell whether a shift in model behaviour came from the code or from the data.
