What does 'Biomarker Scoring' mean?
Biomarker scoring quantifies a stain on a tissue slide, returning a figure for markers such as HER2, PD-L1, ER, PR or Ki-67 instead of a pathologist's visual estimate. The value is reproducibility between readers and between days. Check which markers and which antibody and scanner combinations are covered, and read the labelling carefully: several vendors offer these as research use only in some countries while the same product is CE marked elsewhere.
