Are you using Zoom?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Dependable and simple
What do you like best? I switched to this from goto meeting after a fiasco where our partners couldn’t get set up with goto meeting. I like that it is simple, free for shorter meetings, and isn’t slow. Dialing in is super easy or using computer audio. What do you dislike? I don’t really like the design but that is more of a preference. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Zoom is easy for people who don’t use Skype, which ...

A great collaboration and web conferencing tool
What do you like best? Easy to use and simple to get online with. It's also quite easy for customers to use so that we can connect and cut out many face-to-face meetings, thus saving time. What do you dislike? The set-up was a bit confusing, especially between an admin setting up and then using Google authentication (which set up 2 accounts but I did not realise it. There were a couple of features that were enabled that did not make sense and made it a bit less usable to start with. ...

Easy to use, reliable, clear connection
What do you like best? Clear picture, ability to change from seeing everyone in a group call to seeing just the speaker, good synching of sound and vision (usually, ease of interface and actually getting online in a call. I'm part of a peer supervision group for therapy/healing work with others around the world, and it just is magic to me that I can have these conversations as if we were all in the same room. What do you dislike? Occasional freezes and lack of synching between voice ...

Customer
What do you like best? It's easy to join a meeting and sing up is free. It is used by many different companies What do you dislike? I don't have any current dislikes. I've only used to join meetings or webinars set up by others. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The app allows me to be present at a meeting without having to actually travel to a specific location.

Finally found a stable video conference offering
What do you like best? The main thing I like about Zoom is its features always seem to work. In the past other screensharing software always had bugs and caused issues during calls. I never have to worry about that with Zoom What do you dislike? It would be nice if Zoom had an option to force remove people from calls. I often find myself leaving 1 meeting just to join another meeting with the same people from a previous call but a few removed What business problems are you solving ...

Great for meetings, interviews and teaching online for a larger group.
What do you like best? I used Zoom when I was teaching online to Asian students. I liked that I had the opportunity of seeing more than one student at the same time. Also, I was part of professional development and they used Zoom to have all teachers in the same room at the same time. I like that has the options of raising the hand, asking questions to all participants or just to a specific one, you can mute or unmute participants and things like that. I really liked the easiness to ...

Simple and user friendly software
What do you like best? Easy to connect between different users. Very good for business meetings. Use it daily for daily scrums to coordinate between different software engineers. Very simple UI. What do you dislike? The interface for zoom could look more modern and contemporary like its competitors skype. The interface however is intuitive and easy to use. Zoom has other functions and features that allow for recording of calls and even polling however a new user would not be able to ...
