Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

A perfect collaboration tool rather than other marketing tools.

What do you like best? The screen share feature for Zoom is incredible. Even for users who have never used the software before, Zoom is just user friendly, it's a one-click action, and then you're sharing! It's also easy to switch back and forth, which is great when you're training someone and you want to watch them in action to ensure they understand the material. Sometimes during meetings, a staff member may have questions but it's difficult to interject yourself into the conversation. ...

Great video conference software

What do you like best? The quality of calls is really great and makes our team calls feel like we're all in the same place. I love the feature that highlights who is speaking at the moment. It makes it much easier to track who is speaking. The ability to shrink the video views is a fantastic feature as well. What do you dislike? It is a little cumbersome being prompted to dial in. It doesn't necessarily say you have to but it leads you to believe that's the only way and it can take a ...

As easy as ABC

What do you like best? I love the fact that the sound is super clear; the videos are okay too. But what takes the cake is the fact that I was able to record the meeting and distribute it after the meeting. What do you dislike? The time limit on the free Zoom (40 minutes is a bummer because it kept me as the host conscious to get the conversation moving. On the other hand, the meeting was able to keep to its agenda without wandering off into the unknown Recommendations to others ...

One issue is the 45 minute free meeting - it cuts off quickly. But it does warn you so you know when it is coming Recommendations to others considering the product: pay for the longer video conferencing. It is worth it 100% What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Continually improving

Brilliant conferencing software - my first choice.

What do you like best? Clean non-buffering contact - as good as whatsapp but with multiple users. Seems to need much less bandwidth than Skype - works OK in 3G when I am in Africa. What do you dislike? 40 minute cut-offs, my team is a nonprofit humanitarian group and enjoy more help from other companies keen to assist humanitarian endeavours. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sometimes takes a while to load up. I just log on to my ...
