Scummy move by Zoolz

They might not call themselves a "scam" company, but they indeed are. The fact that they are not even going to give lifetime users partial refund is absolutely astonishing. Don't buy anything from them, ever!

Avoid. Zero integrity scammers

Avoid like the plague. Like several other friends, I payed for a lifetime license a few years ago only to be told it will no longer be honoured with Zoolz using COVID as an excuse. Scam company without any integrity. At least I’m happy in the knowledge that friends are also ending their business plans with these sharks to go somewhere else. If home customers are treated like this then why would you trust them with your business? Hopefully they’ll disappear completely, and everyone can ...

Ludicrous

Ludicrous. Paid £74 for a 'lifetime' subscription two years ago, just to be emailed to say that all my data would be deleted; I spent HOURS of data and electicity uploading my content believing it to be safe. This is NOT because of COVID - they just realised that Home buyers were not as lucrative as Business buyers. To have 'we are not a scam' company in the content of the email left me flabbergasted; what an amazingly stupid call to make. To delete unfavourable comments on facebook won't ...

Cant believe I fell for their offer of a LIFETIME plan for one single reasonable payment. Just a few years later it gets cancelled. What a surprise. Lesson learned - if a company offers a "lifetime" plan this company is most likely very dodgy.

Very untrustworthy and unaccountable.

From an email received this morning:"Despite what some reviews are stating online, and let us first say - we completely understand their frustration and anger - we are by no means a “scam” company and we did honour our lifetime deals for seven years."If you're not a scam company, why have you blocked angry customers from Facebook? You've also disabled the comment option on LinkedIn. If this doesn't stink of covering something up, I don't know what does. And thank you for honouring your ...

Same as the rest...paid more than the yearly rate for the "lifetime" membership only to get about 18 months of service.Everyone just received an email about how sorry they were but they either had to lay off staff or screw over the customers (I'm paraphrasing of course). We have a business as well and it has been a heck of a year, but our stance was to NEVER screw over the customer, even if it ran us out of business. Our view is that the customer IS the business, hence our choices. But Zoolz ...

They sold a lifetime plan and then decided a lifetime was less than <7 years and they can cancel the plan. And somehow they insist they aren’t scamming us.The excuse is that they aren’t continuing the consumer version, but of course you are welcome to pay for a “business” version that does the same thing.Zoolz, the only allowance for cancelling a lifetime account is if your life is over (aka if you go bankrupt). Otherwise you owe everyone who bought a lifetime plan a lifetime “business” ...

Same as everyone else

Same as everyone else. Whoever purchase the "lifetime", should be rolled into the new plan. You cannot offer a product and not stand behind your word.Dear Matt,Thank you for contacting Zoolz. We understand your frustration with the closure of our Home plans. We are extremely sorry for the stress and upset this has caused our customers. The effect the pandemic has had on our business, coupled with cloud storage costs being consistently driven up by large multi-billion-dollar enterprises like ...

Scam

Scam! A lifetime plan turns out to be discontinued soon. What you would expect for this company afterward? They just could not stick with it's promises.

Avoid company at all cost

Business Model...1) Offer a Lifetime plan for one upfront payment.2) Kill off the Lifetime plan3) Walk away with everyone's cash.
