So much for Zoolz Lifetime plan

So much for Zoolz Lifetime plan. Expired after less than 5 years. I have tried every way they have told me to try and download my data and nothing works. Now in order to get my data I guess I will need to sign up for a new plan. What a rip off! Good thing I had a back-up to this cloud and will only lose a small amount.

Class Action on Scamster Zoolz.com

When we bought Subscription from zoolz.com, we didn't select Zoolz Australian data center , so zoolz should move our accounts to their international data-center, else we will lodge class-action. The company is still operating and should respect our bought subscriptions, Closing down of Australian data center & making our active subscription null and void/obsolete is no solution. offer us another account or face class action.

I paid to sign up for a lifetime plan

I paid to sign up for a lifetime plan, not a one year plan. Zoolz just told me that they can cancel it at anytime they like. If they don't plan to honor a lifetime plan, they should not start it at the beginning. Besides, the restoration from the backup never works. It's been running for 2 days on my computer and it still says "Calculatng'. Who would still trust a company that can change their contract on their side any time they want and a system that takes more than 2 days to calculate ...

UPDATE: as expected their response is generic. Class action anyone?Like everyone else got the email they are closing their Australian servers after unsuccessfully trying to force me on to a yearly plan after a purchased a lifetime.I will raise this case with the Australian ombudsman in order to get my money back plus compensation if possible. I will do this tomorrow some time. I'll include the case number soonEMAIL BrisbaneOFT@ justice.qld.gov.au with your complaint in to ZOOLZ practise

Can't be trusted to keep your data safe

Bought a lifetime plan in 2015, I'm still alive but the plan has been ended and Zoolz will now erase all data. If you can't fulfil your 'lifetime' promises you should refund all those who bought lifetime products. Also the interface and backup is antiquated and slowww.

When a company says it is not a scam…

When a company e-mails you and feels the need to point out that they are not a scam company, then you know something is very wrong and you need to pay full attention! The lifetime account I had with Zoolz is being terminated by them after just a few years. I am not inline for any refund (had the account for over a year), so I have lost my money (to be shortly followed by my data).Do not get me wrong, I am not lamenting the loss of a valued and well used service. Zoolz is such a slow service ...

I bought a Lifetime subscription which I now have to pay to use

I bought a Lifetime subscription to Zoolz just under 2 years ago and at the time I thought it was too good an offer to be true. Turned out it was and now Zoolz is forcing users to pay subscriptions to continue using their service. You should consider carefully whether this is a company you want to store your valuable data with.

There should be a class action lawsuit…

There should be a class action lawsuit and people who paid for the Zoolz "life time" cloud scam should be able to get their money back
