Zeplin helps our designers, developers and product stay in sync with all our projects
What do you like best? We like how the Zeplin is set up where we can add all the pixel specs, colors and images needed to show our developers how to build things to exact specifications. This eliminates any of the guesswork when coding the software and leads to less revisions when we go over it with design. What do you dislike? The main thing that Zeplin can improve on is the ability to add a set or group of users to a project. At the moment we need to add each individual separately ...

Love Zeplin!
What do you like best? I like how easy it is to upload designs. I love how you can invite many people and upload components and create style sheets. What do you dislike? I'm not a fan of the desktop webpage and the desktop app being different in functionality. I don't like how we can't have multiple admins and owners. Recommendations to others considering the product: Definitely! It's a great product and works nicely with Sketch. What problems are you solving with the ...

Really good for designers to share ideas to developers
What do you like best? As a developer, my favorite part is how the mockups you get with zeplin are not just images, but all have clickable elements that store the css for the elements as well. They may not always translate perfectly to the actual webpage, but its a great starting point making development much faster and more pleasant. What do you dislike? As far as my experience, I don't like the way different screens are organized. It's a wierd tab view, and I'd prefer a folder ...

Efficient for Sharing Design Specs
What do you like best? We used this tool for design work at my old company and I liked that all the files were in one place. I liked that it shows the design specs and saves a lot of time for designers not having to create their own design spec. It's also very easily transferrable from Sketch. What do you dislike? I wished that Zeplin is able to create like a design toolkit for all the similar design elements like buttons or text size and font. Almost like a cheatsheet, it saves ...

Saving designers and developers time and frustration
What do you like best? I don't have to write out specs describing padding, margin, fonts, etc. for developers. I also like that it refers to semantic names for LESS/SASS What do you dislike? The style guide sometimes isn't ideal if you're making updates to your files and figuring out your design guide. It also relies on your sketch files being very accurate in terms of padding/margin. Recommendations to others considering the product: I use it with Sketch and the plugin is ...
