WHAT THE HELL?!

I'm uploading my images. Great. there are 20 of them, they are big, so it takes a while. AFTER all that the website informs me they are too big to download for free and I have to pay. I don't have problem with paid software - I have a huge problem with software LYING about being free and then expecting payment AFTER THE FACT. Just be upfront, otherwise you're just d***s.

I used Zamzar to convert some media files several months ago. I thought that I had cancelled my monthly subscription after only needing the account for a few hours. I did not realize that I had been automatically billed for the subscription for several months. I contacted Zamzar and explained, not expecting a refund for the months that I never used their product, but I was pleasantly surprised when in fact I did receive a refund when they checked the use history and agreed that I only had ...

When the files I wanted to convert wouldn't work in the normal, automated way, my whining tale to the Zamzar folks produced a willingness to help if I forwarded them to their HQ. In a day the files had been converted and e-mailed back to me, all in time for editing down into short clips for an imminent lecture. First, I need to say that I never review anything. I've definitely complained about some things (i.e. many), but I have never sought out a way to thank a company before.
