Great open source monitoring software
What do you like best? Easy installation and configuration of agents on host machines. Open source and a big community. Auto discovery and configuration of hosts and their templates and host groups using metadata is a great feature. Multi platform support (windows, linux and mac for agents. Good documentation. Zabbix for Monitoring review
What do you like best? Ease of setting up graphs and items. Adding custom items via JMX or SNMP without the need of installing other plugins/add-ons for Zabbix What do you dislike? Exposing JMX can be a hassle. Sometimes the errors are non-descriptive What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Real-time monitoring of systems. Benefit is that we are notified in real-time on errors and issues.

What do you like best? Low Level Discovery is so powerful. I don't understand why so many people sometimes oversight this amazing feature. You can write applications that output the JSON format for LDD and you can even use Zabbix to instrument your applications performance for free! What do you like best? Zabbix is easy to implement, provides graphs of the measured resource and summarizes the data. What do you dislike? Automated remote actions can be challenging. This may be due to the version my systems are on, though. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ability to review activity to determine when resources are constrained and when that causes other problems.

What do you like best? Customizable pages and dashboards are the zabbix best features for me, it helps to have everything I want in the same page. What do you dislike? What do you like best? Zabbix is a customizable open source tool that adapts well to a wide variety of applications, allowing centralized monitoring of a complete infrastructure.
