i used the 'free' version for some…

i used the 'free' version for some months. every day i got 4 or more spam calls. none were blocked. i never upgraded as it appears to be useless. so i switched to another call blocker (free version) and i haven't had a single spam call since. zero. makes me question what youmail really did....they sure didn't block spam.

It was a disaster from the start

It was a disaster from the start. Confusing and blocking everything which is not good when your a business! Upgraded and still couldn't get any phone support. This app sucks! Do not get it. Waste of time and they won't reimburse your money!

I ordered a geranium from Amazon, the supplier was YouMail it was supposed to arrive on the 13th November but didn’t. I have tried to contact them through Amazon to no avail. Finally today I have been informed they will refund the money, but not without a huge amount of hastle.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They advertise a free trial but it's not. They charge you, refuse a refund and then can only be contacted via email but you have to immediately respond to verify a code or you get nowhere. SCAM

Misled

I wanted a 2nd number and what they advertised is a joke.I get spam calls from blocked numbers, personal calls from my phone contacts rerouted to youmail rather than thru my carrier. I swipe to not accept a call and it will either keep ringing after its been swiped no answer or I can't swipe it to stop ringing. It has caused only problems and I had to pay for it. Wonder how my cancellation will go?

Horrible!

The WSJ recommended this app. It started out good, then little by little, it's filtering OUT calls and want and not filtering out calls I don't want. Then try canceling. Hah! I tried the bot, chat and supposedly live people. No one responds. I've been 20 minutes online waiting for someone to respond. It won't let go of my calls, even though I switched to Verizon app.

Enjoyed the service for several years

Enjoyed the service for several years, especially the back up phone line and alternate voice mail messages. I did cancel it when I ceased the business I had but despite missing the renewal date by a week or so they fully credited my annual fees.

Permanently hijacked my call forwarding and voicemail

What do you like best? I installed this app a year ago on an old phone to screen spam calls. It does that. But Google call screener is better. Otherwise, it's nothing special and not worth the risk of it breaking your call forwarding (see below). What do you dislike? I strongly advise against installing this app. YouMail hijacked my voicemail forwarding. I've run the MMI codes, followed Youmail's deactivation instructions, spent a couple hours on the phone with T-Mobile ...

Don not get this App

What do you like best? It sounded very good to have robocalls decreased or eliminated What do you dislike? Youmail was more annoying than robocalls. There are frequent messages to upgrade and more importantly, messages from family and friends had to be retrieved via my email and the message callers received was robotic and not at all welcoming. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? None

Very tricky to use

What do you like best? It’s interesting as a novelty software, but not necessary as a business utility. What do you dislike? It’s unable to be used on certain carriers, and they make it very difficult to setup. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? None at the moment.
