Avoid! Overpriced and Impossible to Cancel
I have been a customer of WP Engine for 5+ years. However lately they have not been able to meet the demands of our growing business and the resulting increase in traffic. As a result I had to find alternative hosting and therefore cancelled WP Engine with my account manager. HOWEVER I am STILL being charged 3 months later. Great for everything EXCEPT e-commerce solutions. Best customer service for Wordpress I've ever experienced, however, when I built an ecommerce site on their ecommerce plan, it would take 45 seconds for my shop page to load. However, I tried my same site migrated over to SHOPIFY, and my site loads in 1 second. It's literally 45x faster to use Shopify, vs WP Engine E-Commerce hosting plan. I moved two Wordpress websites to WPEngine. The process was easy, quick, and pain-free. I later upgraded to dedicated servers and again, the process was smooth as silk. Prices are good, service is on point, and the sites are humming. What's not to like? If you have a WordPress site, WPEngine is your go-to host. Period. Bar none.
