They are a white glove sort of company with very good customer service, rather easy to get working, and just enough options while not too many things to get lost. What do you dislike about WP Engine? Severly limited and restricting hosting…

Severly limited and restricting hosting service. They are now removing .htaccess!!! Why? Because they want you to build the website you own, their way! Amazing value. Impeccable service.

Big dollar but big time service and dependability. I can honestly tell you I have never had a hosting company do two onboarding screen shares with me. The level of support and hands on service is impeccable. You get what you pay for. That statement really rings true with hosting companies. These guys are where you want to be if you care about security.

Made the switch over to WPE... Wow, you truly get what you pay for. Not only does WPE provide a slew of tooling that makes managing my WP sites a breeze (with insane performance improvements) but when I ran into some issues during the migration, WPE's support was out of this world in solving some issues that I was facing. Getting worse by the day

We've been using WPE for years and as time goes more and more things are starting to break. The server error logs are not up to date (or show anything), copying environments from production to stage/dev keeps failing in one way or another, new PHP versions takes forever to be added and so on. There are good things though like the emails they send on vulnerable/out of date plugins, support is often nice, in built geolocation but as a developer these things don't make up the day to day struggles.
