It adds yet another place to go to check for new messages or communications from people. It can feel like an annoyance at times when you're already just trying to clear out your email inbox and there are notifications to go check out activity at yet another service. Recommendations to others considering the product: Worth exploring at least to see if it ...

An excellent company intranet and comms platform
What do you like best? I love the group feature. Workplace groups feel like little online communities, and it fosters great communication. What's nice about Workplace is that it brings all of the fun social features about the Facebook platform into a professional setting. There's virtually no learning curve involved, because really everyone intuitively understands how the platform works. The mobile app is fantastic, and it doen't just feel like another social media platform to check. It ...

Feels less formal than Slack, but no less powerful
What do you like best? Ease of use. If you are used to Facebook, Workplace has no learning curve. What do you dislike? Sometimes treads the line of "too social". I totally understand the appeal of this, but sometimes Slack feels more disconnected (which is good in some workplaces. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try both Slack and Workplace. Figure out which you are more comfortable with: the sociable Workplace, or the more-detached Slack. What problems are you ...

Know Your Audience, Facebook
What do you like best? The UX and interface are nice and clean obviously. What do you dislike? While its a familiar UX and interface, I feel like Facebook is trying to be too many things for too many people. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use the other platforms that already do what Workplace is trying to do. Use Slack for comms, Dropbox for file storage, Asana for task management, and Facebook for facebooking, rather than trying to fit it all into one. What ...
