Great way to communicate
What do you like best? I liked that each area of the company had their own group then there was a group for all employees so you were able to see information pertaining to your area and to the whole company What do you dislike? No dislikes. We didn’t utilize the chat feature What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? You are only speaking with your company employees and don’t have to scroll through hundreds of friends or companies to find your ...

Workplace Newbie
What do you like best? We just began using Workplace by Facebook at my job and it is a simple way to communicate important messages efficiently! What do you dislike? It reminds me so much of Facebook and I don’t want to accidentally post something to workplace that I intended to post on Facebook. Recommendations to others considering the product: I think it seems like an efficient way to communicate with co-workers! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Useful Social Media Tool
What do you like best? Workplace is great for announcements and discussions that could span long periods of time. Threaded comments are convenient. What do you dislike? The timeline leaves a lot to be desired. I feel like it should always be in chronological order. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Workplace helps us to communicate with everyone, even those that are located in different offices/states.

Most of the time my notifications of a response or new post is actually and old one I already saw. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Just another collaborative tool
What do you like best? Maybe the design, integration and available apps What do you dislike? Another login to use another platform for the same thing. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Basically none. But because the size of our company maybe doesn't have the need. We use for internal messaging and posting company internal notifications

All Hail Facebok! Best at what it does
What do you like best? Familiar Facebook interface. Easy for new members to join. Text, audio, and video chat are supported. Inexpensive. The ability to like share comment and engage the employees between others in friendly way. One the best I like about workplace is the application on our mobile. It helps that comments are threaded and it is possible to reply to a specific comment instead of the entire post. What do you dislike? I can't seem to find anything major which I dislike. ...

Limited version of FB
What do you like best? it integrates with our SPA login so you don't have yet another login to memorize. Uses basic FB framework for feeds, posting, etc., so it is easy to learn and use. What do you dislike? It is limited to "sanctioned" groups and posting within those groups. It does not let you make your own personal feed with posts. You can only post in the context of groups. You CAN create your own groups, but it is frustrating to lose the personal aspect of regular FB in this way. ...

Fun way to get to know your coworkers!
What do you like best? It’s just like Facebook. I love seeing photos from My coworkers events and their families. We also do loads of contests with it. What do you dislike? It archives the photos too quickly. It’s hard to go back and find things. Recommendations to others considering the product: Have some way to find old photos. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The contests have been awesome. We challenge people to share ...

Maybe this will eventually get internal social right?
What do you like best? It's probably not going to go away; after a slew of Jive/Jira/Confluence missteps for internal social networks, there's something to be said for going with a big name like Facebook. It's easy to access, and familiar in functionality. What do you dislike? Nobody quite feels like any of their data is private. The UI is very busy. Takes a lot of internal effort to build up useful networks and structure. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...
