WordPress application review

What do you like best? I like how it is very customizable. Once you get used to the layout of the website. As for the app, it's fantastic! I found it really intuitive, loads quickly and is easy to use. What do you dislike? The app is quite large. A high capacity phone is a must to get the best experience. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's fun to use but be sure to invest ample time to play with it and figure out it's quirks to get the most out of ...

Confusing and complicated

When I started using WP (free) a few years ago for simple blogging it was okay. Quite user friendly once you understood how it worked. Then came the updates with the "blocks", this was forced unto me when halfway writing my latest blog. Despite what WP claims, you cannot mix classic (old) with blocks (new), it's difficult to edit and doesn't look right. Editing the blocks version became a complicated frustrating pain in the backside. Eventually after hours of wasted time I switched to ...

Dated technology, but easy to use

What do you like best? WordPress is the easiest content management system to use, both from an administration and a development perspective. The large marketplace of free and paid plugins and themes makes it easy to develop a site without major knowledge of the underlying programming languages PHP and JavaScript. What do you dislike? The tech stack WordPress is building on is becoming outdated and slow compared to more modern approaches like full-stack JavaScript applications ...

Wordpress.com is awful!

Wordpress.com refuses to have a supervisor contact me.We paid for the business plan for 3 years! Their videos have a playback problem that they cannot fix and in the process of this they tell us that our videos (that no longer played) were a violation of their terms of service and deleted our website. They then withdrew our year of credit that we had been given in lieu of a refund for all the years of videos that didnt work on their platform anymore. So they took $300+ from us.Furthermore, ...

WordPress.org is easy and simple to create web pages.

What do you like best? I can create web pages with a very professional look, each tool must be studied previously to be able to do a good job. We don't need to worry about style or originality in every project because WordPress.org guarantees creativity. Websites can be shared internally and externally. What do you dislike? I couldn't configure it by myself, I had to communicate with the support, it took a while but I could solve the error. Saving finished projects can be a bit ...

Good CM Platform but lot of limitations.

What do you like best? Th Platform is quite easy to use and customizable, depending on the users creativity and thoughts of course, or the templates are pretty much the same every year so far. better themes take money but its worth it. What do you dislike? If a beginner who does not have knowledge of HTML/CSS, might get a bit tied in terms of formatting. The templates are pretty rigid and customization is a pain. a single change can affect the entire layout of the page. To use ...

Best, Most User Friendly CMS

What do you like best? WordPress's layout just makes sense. As an SEO Specialist, I'm in the back ends of my clients' sites a lot and WP is by far the best in terms of layout, usability, and functionality. I specifically like how responsive and easy it is to add/edit content. I also like that all tools are neatly organized and in one place. Lastly, WP supports all of the plugins I've ever wanted to integrate into sites. What do you dislike? The Gutenberg update took a little ...

A good platform that helps you manage your site.

What do you like best? I mostly used it to manage content and blogs, but I so like the ability to customize your content and structure your articles the way you like. Wordpress also does a great job of integrating with other online tools. There are many other softwares ranging from anything from SEO optimization to technical tools that help you to improve your website. This makes Wordpress a much more robust tool. The what you see is what you get user interface of Wordpress makes it a ...
