Freelance WordPress.org Review
What do you like best? WordPress.org is quick to install, easy to configure, and with 100s of themes and plugins can be extended. The software has built in tools such as the Customizer to themes easy to work with, import/export tools to move sites around, and a text editor to make changes painless. What do you dislike? Setting WordPress.org with a domain name and changing A records and MX records can be troublesome for beginners. WordPress, as it is the most popular web-platform, ...

Wordpress review
What do you like best? Ease of content management, ease of deployment, plenty of plugins, responsive themes. What do you dislike? Lack of support for relative URL paths is a disaster. Moving an instance of WordPress through the usual dev-QA-production environment is near impossible because of this. Recommendations to others considering the product It's hard to judge that, depends on your actual requirements. No respectable web design company will use WordPress for their website; at ...

A supercharged PHP CMS
What do you like best? It was one of the first CMS that I learned to use when I was starting my journey as a Web Developer (FrontEnd developer now, and It seemed to be one of the best options to start with. The size of its community and amount of plugins and themes is one of the biggest. It is easy to learn to develop using its functions and probably all the questions or doubts that you would have are resolved yet. There is a ton of tutorials explaining a lot of things to do with ...

Eventually, I can do anything with it.
What do you like best? The plugin architecture is well developed and both the user and developer communities are massive. For the beginner, there are hundreds of plugins to choose from to meet your needs. For the veteran, the documentation and APIs are comforting. One doesn't need days of training in either circumstance, unlike one might with many of the other CMS options out there. What do you dislike? Security management can be time consuming. Wordpress is open source, which has ...

Great End-User experience, Potentially frustrating for the Developer.
What do you like best? Something that not a lot of developers think about is that websites are designed for regular people to use. Even business owners aren't necessarily experts. Wordpress provided a very simple and easy to follow back-end system environment that makes the learning curve of using their website very fast. As a developer, their documentation is also pretty top notch and has a lot of reference material to use. A lot of great quality plugins to choose from (and a lot of ...

My experience with WordPress
What do you like best? The thing I like best about WordPress is the fact that's it's an open source CMS. What's great about this is there is a huge community out there of other WordPress developers that can help you with problems, create amazing plugins and themes, and create awesome tools that make building WordPress sites easy. What do you dislike? The downside to having a popular CMS like WordPress being open source is the fact that it's theoretically easier for people to figure out ...

Easiest CMS
What do you like best? The Dashboard by far is the easiest to understand. The UI/UX structure makes it easy to find what is needed. The free themes do get the job done but when you are looking to design an advance website it works perfect. You can do custom themes, install the best rated plugins and find support for pretty much everything. What do you dislike? Sometimes you run into problems that require you to do some research because there is just a lot of ways to solve a problem. ...

Bloated but soooooo flexible!
What do you like best? Easy to build a completely functional site in hours. Flexibility. It's like the app store. There seems to always be a plugin to help you achieve exactly what you are looking for, when Wordpress cannot "out of the box" What do you dislike? I would like Wordpress team to supervise more closely the plugin development environment and close it more like Apple does with its App store. Some plugins are loaded on every single page, when it is often only needed to work ...

Great tool to easily publish your own personal/company
What do you like best? Downloading and installing Wordpress on your own host is easy as 1,2,3. Even if you don't use it in a self-hosted environment, you will love the way it can be customized. Themes, plugins, code: there isn't a single aspect of this platform that can't be changed. Personalization is the key. Even if the stock distribution doesn't pack the feature X that you desperately need, there is at least a plugin that implements it. What do you dislike? Stock themes could be ...

Efficient, easy to use, and reliable
What do you like best? At its most basic, WordPress is as easy to use as Notepad, yet results in a professional look when used to post content. However, it's nearly as easy to add basic formatting such as boldface, alternate fonts, or pictures to a post, giving it more life - and equally easy to modify whatever is posted without disrupting the website as a whole. What do you dislike? The key word behind WordPress is "basic". While it now powers more than 23 per cent of the top 10 ...
