Love and hate
What do you like best? Wordpress is very helpful if you get clients who are able to handle managing their site on their own. I do like that there are numerous ways to get support for problems I have. What do you dislike? 1. NO matter how much security you put on the site. it seems to always be hacked. 2. Plugins don't stay up to date very well. 3. Constant stream of updates for WordPress Recommendations to others considering the product Really take the time to see if ...

I use this for my dance company's website and for my personal portfolio site.
What do you like best? I like that overall it's easy to create and edit simple content. The current interface allows for super quick edits to existing pages. What do you dislike? I dislike how I can't always customize it to my liking. This is mostly about customizing the templates, but sometimes it also comes up with how the media and text interact. I find myself going into the html more than using WYSIWYG for those specifications, but sometimes those changes aren't reflected. I also ...

WordPress Review
What do you like best? I love the easy to use layout of this website builder. I have found it easy to also download and use plug-ins, change themes, and create new looks for my website. They make it easy to get help if needed and adding new content is a breeze. What do you dislike? It is sometimes difficult to get support for plugins through wordpress since you have to post on a thread. Recommendations to others considering the product Explore, explore, explore! So much you can do! ...

I enjoy the WP Platform
What do you like best? I use WP for all of my blogging. I like that I can schedule posts, review comments, and use it for everything I need to connect with my blog followers. I don't have any issues with the site not loading on the readers side, and they can see the pictures that I posted. I enjoy the ease of use, and the idea that I don't have to meet very many requirements to post, or maintain a blog. I do not have to have a minimum amount of posts or readers in order to maintain a ...

Great Web Building Platform
What do you like best? Having the freedom to be able to customize my site without having a background in web design is great! It's fully functional. I love that there are lots of plugins and abilities to meet my needs for my company. What do you dislike? I think there could be a little more tutorials and explanations of how to use the platform. For someone just starting the language and figuring things out could be a little daunting. If there Recommendations to others considering ...

Great for what it is, but I'm an advocate for hard-coding your website over using WordPress
What do you like best? With no coding experience, Wordpress makes it possible to create a website using a template design and manage content additions. For someone who's not proficient in coding, or who has literally no coding experience, this can be good. I think Wordpress is great for what it is: a way to make a website without having too much worry about coding, and a way to allow business owners to add content to their blogs. However, I think in terms of long-term: hard-coding + ...

Wordpress Review - Photography Blogger
What do you like best? Wordpress is good for cataloging old blogs and pulling them up quickly (databasing / tagging / etc. I think there is a lot of use for WordPress with adding plugins / widgets / coding etc. What do you dislike? Wordpress is very hard to use and learn. It is not intuitive and because of the widgets / plugins that are created by other users there are a lot of hiccups and things that don't work. I would not use Wordpress if I didn't have to. We hire a Wordpress ...

Blogging made easy
What do you like best? WordPress makes blogging simple. I'm not web design savvy, so being able to make an aesthetically pleasing blog that's simple to use makes my world a whole lot easier. What do you dislike? The main page colors are a little dull. Beyond that I love the program. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I'm still just beginning my adventure as an entrepreneur and this blog is just the start... this side gives me an ...

We use Wordpress as one of our main CMSs for our clients
What do you like best? The ease of setup and getting started quickly is huge for us. Less initial setup is very important to us. The admin has improved as well over time. What do you dislike? Keeping up with all the plugin updates is horrendous, but that's technically not Wordpress' fault. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure of plugins. They extend the power of Wordpress greatly. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

WordPress
What do you like best? I appreciate that WordPress is extremely flexible, allowing any user from inexperienced to expert to find what they need in one place. I also enjoy how east it is to naviaget the site. With little effort onthe part of the user, a site can look very streamlined and professional. What do you dislike? Customer service could respond more quickely but I gather the delay is from the millions of daily users and not a lack of care ontheir part. I wish there was a great ...
