Reliable system that's user friendly. Can power sites big (and complex) or small (and simple)
What do you like best? The admin area is easy to understand, especially considering the amount of options and features available. The developer API is well documented and there are a lot of resources available to extend beyond a basic site. It's also free. What do you dislike? Out of the box, it's not very optimized for speed. Also, it's strength is also it's weakness as it tends to do too much which gets in the way of the stuff you actually do need. Recommendations to others ...

No matter who you are WordPress.org can help you.
What do you like best? My favorite part aspect of the WordPress.org software is ease of use. As a designer, I can dial back or ramp up the amount of work I need to put in, depending on the client's needs and budget. Quick, pre-purchased-template-driven website? Done. Design-from-scratch-then-build-out? Done. And for the non-designer, it's pretty easy to get a fully hosted and functional website up. This tool works well in professional and hobby settings. What do you dislike? Some ...

Easy to Use Platform for Content Sharing
What do you like best? You can use a template to easily set up a blog, or you can choose to futz with the code. Wordpress is entirely customizable to display your content the way you like. What do you dislike? I don't think their SEO gauge is very accurate. They base your "health" of your SEO performance on the focus keyword, but sometimes they give you a green light when that word is irrelevant to the article - it's just one word in the title. Perhaps there's a science to it that I ...

Great product for personal/business blogging
What do you like best? Easy to use interface, customized widgets , Able to post YouTube video references without any problem. free basic subscription and wide range of themes and options to choose from. What do you dislike? At times, it was really hard for me to log into the account and go to the blog writing page. This process has made me many times to postpone my quick blog updates because it takes longer time to log in. Recommendations to others considering the product Also check ...

Wordpress blogging software
What do you like best? Since Wordpress is an open source platform, there is a large amount of support for it via forums on the Wordpress official website. There are also a large number of themes and plugins for it, creating almost unlimited functionality. The platform itself is also constantly being updated as well, to increase security and improve backend functionality. Once logged into the website, the backend also offers an intuitive tool to manage your website by adding plugins, ...

Molding the face of the internet with Wordpress!
What do you like best? WordPress is the #1 Content Management system on the internet today. Most all of the website I run use this framework because it is user friendly, web developer friendly, and has one of the largest communities for plugins and themes out there. WordPress makes it easy to hand a website over to a customer for them to edit . The version control makes it easy for me when a customer "accidentally" deletes or makes changes to that post or page. You wont go wrong with ...

Not quite as easy and free as rumor has it!
What do you like best? There are many great templates available for the beginner website builder. There are free options which make it really easy to get going on the website. The interface allows editing and creative work to be done without the need to know coding. It intially is a novice user's friend. What do you dislike? The limitations of the free site, the lack of self help and FAQ's in figuring out how to edit and alter pages. A lot of the pre made templates don't have much ...

The BEST Web Blog or Site Platform Available Currently!
What do you like best? The extensible nature of developing using Wordpress. Child themes, plugins, forums, and an entire community of users, many of whom are very willing to help. Other developer have likely wanted to accomplish similar features. Researching the issue and finding a viable solution to implement quickly often yields multiple results or ways of accomplishing the same, so it becomes a matter of testing the method or plugin to determine which matches needs the best. Also, ...

There is No CMS Greater Than WordPress.org
What do you like best? Love the intuitive nature of the word processing and content publishing. What do you dislike? I'm not the biggest fan of the micro-updates that happen constantly. Plugins are constantly having to keep up, so they break often. Unless, it's a security feature, I wish updates were released in bulk. That said, I do like the new dashboard intro videos that come with major releases. Recommendations to others considering the product This is by far the better CMS on ...

Wordpress is a wonderful site to use.
What do you like best? The overall interface is so simple and was to navigate. I am always able to design my website to the fullest extents of my needs without any hassle or confusion. What do you dislike? I don't enjoy some of the added features that are unnecessary. There are a lot of tools that I always see, but have no use for. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I don't have to use a third party to run my website.
