Easy blog creation
What do you like best? Blogging and website creation is a daunting task, but not with WordPress! WordPress makes it quick to get a website/ blog up and running quickly and then allows for you to edit and improve along the way which I have found extremely convenient. What do you dislike? There could be more options in terms of formatting and style. I know others who haven't felt this way though, I think I just prefer more options. Recommendations to others considering the product I ...

Maintenance requirements can be taxing
What do you like best? I love the flexibility of this platform, you can really do anything with it, and the fact that it's free and has thousands of plugins and themes available is a huge plus. What do you dislike? The site constantly needs updating and monitoring. Updates can break the site, but not updating can leave you vulnerable to hackers. I don't recommend this platform to my any clients who don't have the resources to keep it properly maintained. Also, unless a user is planning ...

Difficult to master, but incredibly versatile
What do you like best? WordPress is a platform which can work for anyone - from the most complex of websites to the most simple. It is so versatile, which is certainly its selling point. What do you dislike? At the cost of versatility, comes complexity. While WordPress is a magnificent platform for anyone, it also comes with a significant number of quirks and difficulties. This means it can sometimes require custom coding, and the hiring of an expert to get the job done. Extra cost is ...

WordPress is a good basic website.
What do you like best? I use WordPress for a company blog. It is a useful site. One of its best features is the large number of plug in options that are out there. This makes it possible for me to use WordPress in a myriad of ways and to maximize my business growth. What do you dislike? WordPress doesn't look quite as professional as I would like it to, given the fact that I am using it for business. It is great for blogging and personal uses, but I think free versions are a bit too ...

Word Press Review
What do you like best? I like using wordpress.org because wordpress.org is really easy to use. I made a wordpress.org website to promote my professional profile because it was a requirement for one of my Masters level classes. I continue to use this as part of my professional development and as a portfolio for when I apply for jobs. I can easily navigate through the website building process, add links and photos and design the website the way I want to using different fonts and colors. ...

Versatile and expandable CMS solution for your business
What do you like best? I like that it is open sourced with a large community of users and developers. The WP is a greate platform that is extremely well designed and has all of the controls and features needed for a modern website platform. The blog feature was the foundation, but with the advent of pages and themes, you can create any type of site in a short amount of time. There are many free and premium themes to choose from. I also like the power of the plugin modules. There is an ...

Great product for a working actor like me
What do you like best? Before wordpress.org, I didn't have much experience with building a website. I was rather intimidated by making one all on my own. Wordpress has a very easy process to follow. I was able to build a website within two days. For a basic website, I have a pretty neat layout. There are a ton of color schemes available. User support is super responsive. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to contact them about an issue and they were very knowledgeable. ...

For Experienced Users Only
What do you like best? I think WordPress provides a great platform for those who are knowledgeable on how to customize websites to get the exact effect they want. If you're hoping for a detailed website with a variety of options and products, it would be a good option for you. What do you dislike? I believe the way WordPress is set up is overcomplicated and not user-friendly at all. Like I said before, if you have a lot of web coding and design skills on your own, you would probably ...

Easy to use!
What do you like best? I am not very HTML savvy, but Wordpress enables me to make a website that looks professional. Unlike other sites used in the past where I had to hire someone to troubleshoot, Wordpress is easy enough for me to use that I can update information on my own, whenever I want to. My company has improved because of our Wordpress site. What do you dislike? I don't feel like there are as many options as a plain HTML site, and it does look a little more carbon-copy than I ...
