I love Wordpress.org

What do you like best? I like that you can look up anything you don't know. There are tutorials on every plugin, widget, theme, etc. I also like that you can add custom html to the sites. I especially like that it is the framework that most major sites, like cbs, etc use. What do you dislike? I really don't dislike anything about it. I dislike that there are so many alternatives that people call themselves web developers when using square or storenvy. I love Wordpress. It's my ...

Wordpress easy to learn, recommend to clients

What do you like best? One of my favorite items of WordPress is it's easy to use interface. When I work with small businesses it's easy to recommend WordPress because I know it will be an easy learning curve to overcome for my clients. Another minor item I enjoy about WordPress is the ease of customizing blogs (inserting media, formatting paragraphs, adding keywords, etc. It's a small detail, but it makes my job easier. What do you dislike? I have been having difficulty figuring out ...

Easy to Use, Kinda Slow

What do you like best? I like that I have sooo many options and I can use HTML if I need to, but since I'm mostly ignorant in web programming, I don't have to use it, either. Because of this, it's fairly easy to train other employees to use the software because they don't need to know HTML. What do you dislike? I dislike that it's rather slow and bogged down with lots of extra stuff. I also wish you could update your current theme plugin without it resetting all the customization of ...

A CMS for everything

What do you like best? Wordpress can fulfil any website requirements from online shopping to a social group. Installation and managing admin part of WordPress is very good and even a newbie can manage it. What do you dislike? Security part needs to improve. Attack to hack or unwanted comments need to improve. We can control comments using approval concept, but boring to see daily lots of spam comments. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Very user friendly

What do you like best? I like the fact that you do not have to be a programmer to use Wordpress. It is a very powerful website designer. Easy to use. Awesome for small to midsize companies. What do you dislike? Some of the features are a little difficult to figure out. Some of the forms does not connect to the program that we currently utilize - Acton, which I wish it would so we have to work backwards to make it work. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

User-Friendly and Easy Customization

What do you like best? Wordpress is as simple or as powerful as you want it to be. Custom coding and an infinite pool of plug-ins make it a suitable platform for just about every user. Content-wise, it's easy to publish and edit posts and manage media. What do you dislike? The only downside to Wordpress is that they don't offer web hosting. Newer website platforms such as Squarespace are a one shop deal and eliminate another layer to web developing. That's especially convenient for ...

Easy to use, even for beginners.

What do you like best? What I like best about WordPress was the breadth of customization. You can pick from thousands of themes to create and site. Most themes will also come with a tutorial video that can be extremely helpful. I was able to get my site up in less than a week. If you don't have a background in coding, Wordpress is great for a first site. What do you dislike? Sometimes, depending on the theme you choose, customizing your site can be difficult. I don't find anything ...

Using WordPress to Create Website for my Business

What do you like best? Wordpress offers a simple and straightforward platform to build a website. You can either start from scratch or buy a layout. Because Wordpress is so widely used there are many tutorials online if you need help. I bought a layout and edited it. What do you dislike? It can be a little complicated if you have no previous experience with website design [html, css]. It also takes time to create your own website if you do not want to hire someone else to do it. ...

Professional & Well-Serviced

What do you like best? Anytime (and I do mean "any" I have a question, the Wordpress Wizards get back to me in a jiff to assist me. They're kind and quick to figure out a solution. Customization is easy to navigate. What do you dislike? Occasionally the format will malfunction -- particularly when media is added. And once that happens, the spacing goes berserk. In one instance, it also messed with the post margins. Recommendations to others considering the product It's a little ...

User Friendly and Engaging

What do you like best? I love that WordPress is user friendly. I am not the most adept with websites and creating pages, but WordPress made it easy for me to set up my own website for my side business. What do you dislike? I don't like how there isn't a user-friendly way to dive more into the themes and personalize them more to meet users needs without buying items and reading tutorials Recommendations to others considering the product I would recommend WordPress.org to new users. ...
