WordPress Company Website Review

What do you like best? It is a very user friendly program that allows design capabilities that are easy to use. What do you dislike? 2 things I dislike include that because of the amount of random plug ins you are able to use, it really complicates how things are updated, how things export, and how things transfer. For example, when I try to use the same information and export from one page to another, i have to export pages and plugins separately. Another thing disliked is the lack ...

Wordpress CMS

What do you like best? It is a great content management system that has a user-friendly GUI. Now, instead of having to deal with dynamic content, I can have clients sign in and update their own dynamic, changing, content. What do you dislike? Very difficult to find where the html is stored-- everything is php with a mysql database. To simply change one structural thing involves finding the referencing php file which references another one etc, etc. Recommendations to others ...

Quick and easy to get you started

What do you like best? Wordpress is really nice to use to create a start up stand alone blog. The step by step start guide is easy to get it up and running. The variety of price options is also nice if you want to bump up to a more audience focused and influencing type account. The coding language that you can flip to is also very easy. What do you dislike? Sometimes a little unsure how to navigate the toolbars when on different technologies (desktop vs iPad. I tend to delete items I ...

Easy way to build a personal website

What do you like best? Wordpress is easy to navigate, has nice templates that are pleasing to the eye (if chosen wisely, and is helpful in taking minimum time to make a personal website. The last part is especially useful for people like me who only needed a personal website to put on my CV when filling out application forms, knowing that my potential reviewers will not actually go on the personal website nor judge me based on how good a personal website is. What do you dislike? I ...

Pretty Solid Experience

What do you like best? I came into the company knowing next to nothing about Wordpress and have been able to pick up on it fairly easily without too much outside help. What do you dislike? Some aspects of editing are not easy to find, such as website header and HTML-based tables. Recommendations to others considering the product It is a good place to start when it comes to creating your first website. There are a lot of pre made templates to choose from if you do not lean so heavily ...

Review of using wordpress

What do you like best? That it's very easy to use and inexpensive. There are templates for people who don't want to design their own website from scratch. Wordpress is nice for anyone who wants a very basic and simple first website. What do you dislike? I dislike that it has such specific size limitations for the pre designed templates. I would not recommend Wordpress for someone who wants a highly customized website. The site requires you to understand coding to be able to have more ...

The only CMS you ever need!

What do you like best? I like the open-ended plug-in options. You can download free plug-ins but also have premium plug-ins to purchase for more detailed solutions. I am a web designer who passes the web update responsibilities along to the client, since this is a well known program, most clients can pick it up and learn easily, or they are already familiar with the user interface. What do you dislike? The constant updates can be tough. There are constant security issues with the ...

Wordpress Equals Best in Class for SEO

What do you like best? Wordpress is incredible because people are creating valuable plugins for it throughout the world. It seems to keep getting better. What do you dislike? Not much I dislike. I guess the only thing that comes to mind, and this isn't a specific Wordpress issue, it is more related to sites having to work on mobile and desktop... It is hard to design a site that doesn't look like a site. In other words, some of the best web sites, in the "olden days," were designed to ...

WordPress is a great tool, and gets better all the time

What do you like best? I have been using WP since 2009 boh for my own site and several clients. I love that the software continues to evolve. What was a serviceable product for blogging and simple websites is now a robust content management system that can integrate with every major commerce and CRM platform out there. What do you dislike? Dilemma with plugins. Automatically updating may result in strange results, but manual updating can be challenging with many sites to update. What ...

Love it!

What do you like best? Versatility, for design and abilities, great for branding, and easy for content creation and blogging. Plenty of resources for help within the wordpress community as well. What do you dislike? Creating the theme and design for your site with wordpress can be tedious if you're not familiar with the platform or a website designer. You'll have to teach yourself everything if you're new, but there are quite a few resources that can help you, as well as easier themes ...
