Great for what it does

What do you like best? Short learning curve to have a simple site up and running. Stay on top of updates and pay for wordfence plug in. Lots and lots of plugins to make it do pretty much anything. also easy to setup other users. What do you dislike? needs lots of updates, so automation is your friend! What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Site for non profit I work with, my own photography site, sites for a couple other ...

Satisfied wordpress user since 2004

What do you like best? Wordpress is a very good framework for website with a communication purpose. If several contributors have to manage content learning wordpress is very simple. What do you dislike? There is an enormous catalog of plugins and themes. You have to pay attention of the quality when you chose plugins and themes for the maintenance and security of your website. Recommendations to others considering the product Wordpress is a web framework and not only a CMS when you ...

Great design space

What do you like best? I like the simplicity in which you can create a web page. It's pretty self explanatory and it's easy to set up. It would be no issue to create multiple domains in order to drive a stronger business. What do you dislike? I dislike that it's not totally customizable. I wanted to use PayPal in a specific way and it would not allow me to use the code how I wanted to. There also was a bit of a learning curve to the interface. Overall, creating the site is simple and ...

Custom Website for Everyone

What do you like best? I like the fact that I have little technical know-how and I've still figured out how to make my website nearly what I dream it could be. It's taken me a lot let time than my attempts at learning HTML in high school and way less money that hiring someone to build it for me. I like how much info there is available online if you are teaching yourself and the fact that your domain name is whatever you choose. What do you dislike? I not a huge fan of the random ...

A program for everyone

What do you like best? What I like about Wordpress is that I could use it knowing nothing about templates and blogs. There are programs for everyone. You can look at an example and see what your website will look like. If you're a little better with computers and codes you can completely design your own website using Wordpress. What do you dislike? It's hard to think of something I don't like about Wordpress. I would guess I like to see an update on the app What business problems are ...

Wordpress for Biz!

What do you like best? I love that WordPress provides an easy-to-use, customizable platform that allows me to connect with my audience. What do you dislike? WordPress is not always intuitive to use so sometimes it takes a while to figure out how to integrate the widgets, customize, and make it look/function exactly the way I want it to. Recommendations to others considering the product If you're looking for a platform for your business, WordPress has a lot of options to make it ...

Depends on project requirements

What do you like best? WP is more user-friendly than some of the other options. You don't need to have a background in web dev to use it. Relatively quick to set up and maintain - depending on requirements. What do you dislike? It still lacks the robustness of other CMS platforms. Although they may be more difficult to deploy on the onset, many of them are easier for non-web dev users to use long-term if designed correctly. Recommendations to others considering the product Before ...

great site for blogging

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to use. When we used this program, it was very user friendly. I had no previous experience with blogging or wordpress and was able to jump right in. It links directly to our company website which was great for streamlining the process. I didn't have to jump between multiple platforms to make sure everything looked good. It is also a very cost effective tool to have. What do you dislike? Some of the formatting was different from what I knew ...

Learning Curve, but Worth It

What do you like best? I like the ability to purchase templates and fairly easily set up a very nice looking website. I also like that You can still customize and are not totally beholden to the template. What do you dislike? There's a bit of a learning curve and it can be very confusing when you first download a new template. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I can't really comment on that as our business is a bit unusual. We ...
