Great usability and endless integrations

What do you like best? WordPress is surprisingly easy to use and maintain for a blog. Once you're familiar with the platform, it's easy to play around with and customize to your exact needs. There are also millions of integrations (plugins, so finding a solution for any need is an option. I've worked with Wix in the past and some things are just not an option because there aren't integrations with the platform. What do you dislike? There was more coding than I expected when I started ...

Easy to Use and customizable

What do you like best? It is incredibly easy to setup and choose a template that works for you and your product/service. It also has the ability to be password protected. What do you dislike? Information doesn't easily merge from one template to the next. Can be somewhat difficult to install different widgets without the help of an expert. Recommendations to others considering the product If you're looking to have something more customized and in-depth, pay a freelancer to set it ...

Wonderful Application

What do you like best? Ease of use, variety of layouts and themes, very easy to teach myself. What do you dislike? Nothing at the moment. I think its a great program and very easy to teach yourself! Reporting could be better. Recommendations to others considering the product It does have it's limitations, but overall its a great product for blogging/websites. My site has a lot of customization as we needed it - but it works well for what I need! What business problems are you ...

CMS of Choice by Most Clients

What do you like best? Ease of use since there is not too steep of a learning curve. They have come a long way with some of the newer templates and I can get a site spun up very quickly as long as the template is built right. What would have taken days or weeks now takes hours. There are also plugins for pretty much anything you need to do. What do you dislike? SLOOOOOW. All of this comes at a cost and its site speed. There are ways to minimize the affect of so much code and all the ...

Word Press for Small City

What do you like best? The ease of uploading links to documents such as fillable .pdfs, job descriptions, etc. What do you dislike? Not having the freedom to change page design. This is not a flaw of the system, but of our administrators. Recommendations to others considering the product I know many people who have had success with wordpress. What we use it for does not use all of it's potential or features. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Wordpress is fantastic!

What do you like best? Maybe I am biased because Ive been using it for a long time, but I find the back end to be pretty user friendly. Even when you have different themes installed, its pretty intuitive to be able to locate the functions you're looking for. (portfolio, sliders, other plugins, etc What do you dislike? Ive had issues with individual themes. This isnt really wordpress's fault but sometimes you can buy a theme and the quality and support are terrible. I also hate that ...

Wordpress- yays and nays

What do you like best? Wordpress works great for all levels- but you get back what you put in. If you're familiar with the platform it is extremely easy... if you're new to it and do not take an intro to Wordpress course/ ect you will not like it. What do you dislike? Wordpress, although looks user friendly, is not extremely user friendly and/or easy to customize for beginners. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use WordPress ...

Easy to Use with lots of Extras

What do you like best? I enjoyed the easy and clean interface. It made learning the system that much easier because everything was in the logical place. What do you dislike? Sometimes it is a little clunky or slow to load. There are also some problems that I have in regards to hidden costs, not WordPress but some of the extensions or templates and things like that. Recommendations to others considering the product If you are newer to this type of work then this is a good place to ...

Couldn't love it more!

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to install widgets and customize your site with minimal development experience. All you need to know is very basic HTML and you are golden! What do you dislike? It take a bit of time to get used to, but the forums are very useful to teach yourself! Recommendations to others considering the product If you're not a designer, you can purchase great design templates on Etsy! What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Ease of Use, Large Support Base

What do you like best? We use Wordpress (the self-hosted version, not Wordpress.com for every client website we build, as well as our own sites. We like the flexible architecture with easy add-on capabilities via plugins; a wide variety of commercial themes and plugins; the huge user base (easy to find support; and the ability to control everything from our own hosted server. What do you dislike? Sometimes, free plugins from the "repository" (wordpress.org get dropped by the author, or ...
