Wordpress is a great platform for any type of website!

What do you like best? We love the fact that it's a platform that is always updated. There are many companies dedicated to developing plugins, integrations, API to extend its functionality which is great. In the past, we've used other platforms but the support was not good and the additional plugins were incredibly expensive. With WordPress you can always find several alternatives to extend the functionality which is a great way to make a website stand out from the rest. My recommendation ...

Full of features and the standard for blogging

What do you like best? We utilize Wordpress for our blog, and Wordpress makes it easy to create custom themes, utilize plugins and easily manage your SEO. What do you dislike? We keep our blog very lean on plugins because I have had experience with slow load times on Wordpress if you're using a large amount of plugins. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were quickly able to set up our blog and our blog's SEO with Wordpress ...

Given me tactile skills for content creation

What do you like best? I do most of the writing and blogging for my company and WordPress hosts our site. As such, I've gotten very familiar with the various coding and plug-in issues and short-cuts. It's really added to my CV. What do you dislike? Even with what I know, I frequently hit issues that I cannot resolve myself and have to outsource. Recommendations to others considering the product I don't know any other platform that we would even consider using. What business ...

Easy to use, learn, and manage

What do you like best? WordPress is simple to learn, pretty straightforward to use, and has many plugins that address needs. We use the Business Directory and Blog plugins and various ecommerce themes too. What do you dislike? Easy to spam, and this really bothers me. Customization can be tricky. We get a lot of spam on the blog, but it is usually caught and that is helpful, but I'd prefer if it were completely blocked. I worry a bit about hacking. What business problems are you ...

The UI can get cluttered and confusing. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I can run websites for e-commerce, informational, digital subscription, referral clients, you name it - all in one platform that is easy to use and navigate.

Highly Recommend

What do you like best? I love that it is so easy to use after you get the hang of it. It let's me save future posts and i love the autosave features. When I have a quick idea for a blog I can jot it down and safe as a draft and come back to it later. I can make 5 completely ready to go posts and post them as i need to. What do you dislike? I didn't love how long it took me to figure it out. I had to spend some time figuring out where to put certain codes (like from mailchimp: ...

From Anti-Wordpress to Wordpress Advocate

What do you like best? I've been developing websites since the only tools that you had were Window's Notepad and Netscape Navigator. Coming from the old school, my development firm also built content management platforms from the ground up using PHP and ASP.net before it was trendy to do so. So, when people first started using a blogging platform called "Wordpress" to build websites - I was appalled. It was clunky, it broke a lot, and the support was grassroots and borderline ...

WordPress Allows for Creativity

What do you like best? WordPress guides you through the process of creating a website from scratch. What do you dislike? It's very tricky to make changes and then see them in action. The way I do it is by pulling up two separate browsers and then change the template, then refresh the browser to see the updates. I will there was a better way to do this instead of using two screens basically. Recommendations to others considering the product I would do thorough research. In my ...

Versitile and easy to use

What do you like best? I like all the plug ins that you can easily install to work along with wordpress. What do you dislike? If you aren't a pro it can get confusing. There was a time that I completely broke the entire website and was happy to be able to go back to an earlier version to fix. Recommendations to others considering the product I would recommend hiring a developer to set the site up. Once site is set up I think anyone can learn to maintain it. What business problems ...

Great for blogging and quick posts.

What do you like best? WordPress has been great for us to utilize while blogging. We can quickly make edits and design changes while proofing the final outcome. We are also able to copy our email blasts into the platform without hardly any format changes. What do you dislike? Sometimes it can feel a little out dated in regards to editing capabilities. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are able to publish blogs, tips, and ...
