Easy to use, not easy to modify

What do you like best? I loved how easy it was to input a layout in and change the words. I hate how it messes everything up when I want to move a border a few inches. What do you dislike? I hate that I have to use the preoffered color schemes. I should be able to choose each individual element on the site and change each one individually. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Mostly communication. I realized that there wasn't ...

Fun, dynamic, expandable.

What do you like best? WordPress is very simple to install and use. Almost anyone can make a full website or splash page and advanced web developers can produce complex, dynamic web sites. What do you dislike? To be honest, there are so many positive aspects about word press to list even one thing negative thing. I have zero complaints. Recommendations to others considering the product Need a blog, product splash page, full website? WordPress. What business problems are you ...

Great platform

What do you like best? How easy the backend can be customized. There’s a lot of flexibility when building the admin site. What do you dislike? Yoast plug-in wasn’t well explained. It was an automatic update that helps with metadata and other seo, but we didn’t understand how to use it at first. Recommendations to others considering the product Have a great developer to customize everything What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Almost easy enough for a non-techie

What do you like best? I can make basic changes myself without hiring a web designer or virtual assistant to correct a typo or change text. It's hard to screw it up because it's easy to revert to pre-error and start again from that point. The range of choices to create a site are extensive. It's almost intuitive if you've had any experience with WordPress at all. What do you dislike? There are still a few mysteries to figure out on where to find things, which I can usually discover by ...

Easy to Use

What do you like best? I like that I don't have to know a lot of html to make basic edits to page content. What do you dislike? I've had several instances when I wanted to go back to a different page while I was several layers into a dropdown, but hitting back takes you all the way to the beginning. For instance, SEO--->Tools-->Bulk Editor. To make an edit to meta on one page, you have to edit the page, then return back to all the pages instead of returning to the Bulk Editor ...

I personally use WordPress for my blog and adding content is so easy. I can also change the template and overall look of the blog with just click. What do you dislike? I do wish there were more free options when it comes to the templates. Or at the very least, I would like to have more free ...

Love Wordpress

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to use. It's very intuitive to what a user is looking to do. While there could be more guided tutorials when you first sign up, Wordpress has served me very well. What do you dislike? I dislike that at first, it's a little confusing to find how to implement plugins, customize the page, and add different pages/main screens. Honestly, I still haven't figure out how to add a main screen with links to all of the other pages. Recommendations ...

My favorite self hosting site

What do you like best? Wordpress.org allows you the support and autonomy to host your own website. With its ease of use and freedom to control virtually all aspects of website management, it's great for beginners and pros alike. They also have tons of awesome plug-ins designed by people all over the world. They provide solutions to problems making things like email integration, contact forms, and stats, to name a few. What do you dislike? It can be a bit confusing to the new user. The ...

Easy to teach myself, great interface!

What do you like best? I love that no matter what, if I have a question I can usually google it for the answer very quickly. The drop & drop styles are great to work with, on both of the Wordpress sites that I manage. What do you dislike? I dislike that I sometimes I can't figure out where something is coming from, and sometimes the support doesn't get back to us very quickly. Recommendations to others considering the product Definitely would recommend this product to others! It's ...
