Not for the self-starter

What do you like best? Allows you to have "cooler" features than other template based website hosting options. What do you dislike? Can get complicated very quickly, at times requires a lot of "back end" design work. Recommendations to others considering the product If you're using it for anything other than blogging, get some help - unless you're website savvy. If you're not, wordpress is best used when you're keeping things on the simple side. Start a blog and go from there, ...

Best CMS For Developers

What do you like best? Easy to develop with. Once you understand how WordPress puts everything together, your golden. Actions and filters allow you to work with WordPress from point A to Z. It is secure and an example is it doesn't use sessions to authenticate and authorize users. What do you dislike? Can be resource heavy. If you're using plugins on top of plugins, your website isn't going to load the fastest. You can also end up with a slow database. For example, since it doesn't use ...

Great Beginner Webpage

What do you like best? I am NOT a developer. But I needed to create a webpage to save cost and this site was wonderfully easy to use. It walked me through step by step and I was able to create a professional looking page that suited my simple needs just fine. I've recommended it to a lot of small business owners and realtors who need a platform. They all love the ease of use and simplicity as much as I do. What do you dislike? The email system was not as easy to set up as I would have ...

WordPress is taking over

What do you like best? I really love how you can customize the page, blog, or app that you want. You can create whatever you want and the customer service will be right there if there is something you can't do. I also really like that they have the option of an app on your computer or on your phone. This is really helpful because a lot of our doctors travel so they are able to update their page while they are on the go. What do you dislike? I hate that you have to switch between the ...

Wordpress better for customization

What do you like best? I like the variety of templates available and that you can customize templates by finding code online to add. The two editing options "visual" or "text" make it easier for experienced or novice users to edit. What do you dislike? The Dashboard interface isn't as user friendly and sometimes takes a bit to navigate to where you want to go. Recommendations to others considering the product If you do not want to work with code, this is not the website for you ...

Great for Beginners

What do you like best? I like the flexibility and the fact that the software is free. It is easy to change anything you want in WordPress so you don't have to be a seasoned designer. Being able to move your website from one host provider to another one is pretty easy, which is a huge bonus. What do you dislike? I hate the fact that you constantly have to update the software. It is an inconvenience and frankly can be detrimental for your website. The lack of support is disheartening ...
