New User for WordPress

What do you like best? I really like the GUI for WordPress. It is easily navigable and pretty self explanatory. What do you dislike? What I don't like is how limited it is. It is rather cumbersome to do fully customization. Recommendations to others considering the product WordPress is good for people that do not have much experience with coding or general website development. It can easily be learned within a short time and can create good looking websites. It is however, limited ...

Seems to be very functional but not too user friendly

What do you like best? I host an online magazine (multi-user blog on wordpress and it has worked well. It has allowed us to all add and edit content from multiple accounts with different access levels. What do you dislike? I am not a tech guy and it seems to have a lot of moving parts. I have been able to figure most things out but have had problems with back end issues such as SEO. Recommendations to others considering the product It may help to have someone on your team to set it ...

Easy to use and get running but poor for advanced use

What do you like best? If you need to just get a site up, that's easy to manage and save time/money on design/admin that's great. Wordpress is 100% what you want. There's a vast array of expertise for hire that are cheap. Installing and running it on a server is a doddle if you don't want to use standard hosting. What do you dislike? Unfortunately, it really falls down in advanced use. PHP and it's databasing is clunky. Once you reach a scale where you get serious traffic (we're over ...

An easy to use Content Management System

What do you like best? The ability to create content in a team and assign different roles to each member. This allows the team to work similar to media's editorial team where there is the managing editor(s and the content creators. The admin can give access to the contributors to work directly with the CMS or limit the access for more security. Another plus point for WordPress is the availability of the themes and plugins. There are virtually tons of themes and plugins for various ...

Fantastic Website Management Tool

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to build websites using WordPress and then for multiple users to go in and manage the websites, both in terms of posts and pages. What do you dislike? It is misleading going in as to what exactly you will be getting, as a lot of the more robust themes cost extra money. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We need to build multiple websites for our brands, but for each one to have the ...
