For starters
What do you like best? Being the owner of two WordPress sites I can recommend their product if you want something simple and quick out there. They used to be easy to create, with lots of choices in layouts and colors. Plenty of apps that could be plugged in for all kinds of purposes. They were easy to keep up and update. When I looked into building a third one in the beginning of this year, I was a little disappointed that they cut their selections to a minimum. What do you dislike? ...

Easy to Create and Update - But Not Without Bugs
What do you like best? Even from a nonprofessional standpoint, WordPress is easy to learn and maintain. It beats writing code any day. What do you dislike? There are occasional and, as best as I can tell, unexplained bugs when formatting photos and text. Perhaps this is something specific to our application. Perhaps not. Recommendations to others considering the product Be sure to review available apps before reinventing the wheel and check out YouTube or Vimeo training videos. ...

Wordpress for blogging
What do you like best? I like that it's an incredibly powerful tool with millions of ways to customize and has incredible capabilities. What do you dislike? I dislike that there is a pretty steep learning curve to getting started. In fact after almost 6 years of using it, I'm still confused by so many things. Recommendations to others considering the product I recommend taking some kind of online course to understand the basics. Once you do, it's a lot easier to customize your ...

Great, easy way to host your website
What do you like best? It's fairly intuitive to use for a non-designer. What do you dislike? I wish there were more template options. Recommendations to others considering the product Overall it's pretty easy to use for a non-designer. My biggest recommendation though is that you're very intentional about which template you use and that you identify someone who can act as your support. Word Press itself makes it hard to get ahold of someone. There are lots of discussion boards, ...

Powerful and flexible content management solution
What do you like best? WordPress has been great for us as it has given us the ability to flexibly update our web site and blog without the overhead of involving people from the development, QA, and deployment groups of our organization. The frequency of updates has provided us significant value by allowing us to better target content to visitors and to keep our content current. In addition, the variety of plugins and themes available for the platform helped to quickly establish a base ...

WordPress is the way to go ...
What do you like best? Infinitely customizable, controllable, and extendable What do you dislike? There's a bit of a learning curve and the documentation is written for people who already know what they're doing. However with a small bit of searching, one can find beginner-level blog posts out there that will walk you through. Recommendations to others considering the product Just do it! It's worth the learning curve to be able to have such pinpoint control over your site. What ...

Casual User
What do you like best? Wordpress.org is very easy to use for a novice user! What do you dislike? Wordpress.org is not easily customizable. Recommendations to others considering the product My experience is from a basic user. I'm not sure if there are more bells and whistles - I'm allowed to use what my IT department lets me. I think it's very easy to use, however I would like more customizable and visual options - for example different fonts, and page set up, etc. What business ...

Wordpress is the most customizable, wonderful thing ever, especially used with a website builder. The best thing about it is how versatile it is. Very easy to use
What do you like best? It is very easy to use. The site is easy to navigate and simple. What do you dislike? There really isn't much I dislike - I wish you could delete certain features from your dashboard if you don't use them. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it for my blog and it has provided me with a great space to host that portion of my brand.
