WordPress.org as a Problem Solving Tool for Side Projects

What do you like best? WordPress.org makes it simple to start websites and track your progress for side projects professionally. I have used it to test out concepts before launching them on main websites and as additions that stayed completely as side projects. You do not need to be a web designer to be successful while utilizing this website. What do you dislike? WordPress can feel generic and you do need to be prepared to put in at least 15 hours into learning the program and ...

Flexible, powerful entry level system

What do you like best? Wordpress isn't powering 26% of the internet for nothing. This free, open-source, entry level powerhouse is everything you need in a CMS. I've used it in the past with almost no customization, and it hosted my content well and had affordable designs. At my current company, just a little bit of front end work has made it a completely custom, reliable hosting system. Relatively easy to install plugins and run them, of which there are many. What do you dislike? It's ...

In-Depth Review of Wordpress

What do you like best? How universal Wordpress is. Virtually every web host works with Wordpress, and Wordpress themes work really well across a multitude of browser platforms. What do you dislike? The lack of a drag-and-drop capability, which is both bad and good. It kind of forces you to learn CSS in order to design and customize your site as precisely as possible. It's a little more work but, more rewarding. Recommendations to others considering the product It is definitely worth ...

What do you dislike? Each update to WordPress brings new functionality, but can sometimes break your template, causing your web page to look funny. ...

Top of the line CMS platform for all business

What do you like best? I like that it's a free open-source software. What do you dislike? Nothing much to dislike with Wordpress. I like almost everything about Wordpress. Recommendations to others considering the product I recommend to start with tutorials on how to post, edit pages and get used to the backend dashboard before diving in to the hard stuff like replacing the theme, customization, eCommerce etc. What business problems are you solving with the product?
