Wordpress makes it easy to make sleek, modern Web sites

What do you like best? There are lots of templates to get the look and feel you want. Add to this a lot of plugins to add features and functionality to your site. The database backend makes it easy to update pages without having to code HTML or javascript. What do you dislike? Updating to a new version of Wordpress can be a nightmare. It can completely break a site. It is best to update on a duplicate site then bring the site live once all the bugs are worked out. Also, plugin ...

Straightforward and Easy to Use

What do you like best? I like the simplicity of the WordPress.org site, particularly as it relates to organizing and scheduling posts and adding pages to a website. I also really like the WordPress mobile app, as it is equally easy to use and offers a flexible way to update posts and pages on the go. What do you dislike? At first, the dashboard interface (WP Admin confused me a bit, but it has since been updated and is now much simpler. Recommendations to others considering the ...

The perfect open source platform for web designers

What do you like best? The greatest part about WordPress is the large selection of open source plugins and templates. For someone who is not the most well versed web coder, there are plenty of tools to keep you hopping along and you will most likely end up with something that looks and behaves very professionally with features that used to be incredibly difficult to implement. What do you dislike? There are not many downsides to WordPress unless you are not completely sure of how to ...

Great for All levels

What do you like best? Highly customizable. Dozens of widgets. Best blogging interface. Paid option to have a unique domain through WordPress. More than 100 free themes. Gives bloggers very deep control. What do you dislike? Cons. Some learning curve; requires up-front time investment. You have to take time to go through each time to customize but if you have patience it is easy. I think that you need to sit down in a quiet place and just dive in without distraction to fully get all ...

Great CMS with a ton of versatility.

What do you like best? The customizability of WordPress is perhaps its greatest strength. The ability to develop your own custom content templates and use them is invaluable - but if you want a simple format for your page, the preloaded templates are great too. Essentially, WordPress allows you to keep your content as simple (or as intricate as you wish. What do you dislike? The WYSIWYG text editor has always been wonky, and is often unpredictable, even when you try to account for text ...

Great websites

What do you like best? How customizable it is while still fairly easy to use What do you dislike? There are some things that you can only do by changing the code of your website which is very nerve wracking if you don't do that often Recommendations to others considering the product Buy a wordpress theme from a reputable group. The customized ones are great for big organizations that can pay to update those every 3-5 years, but if you can't do that, things will start to break in the ...

Excellent platform for many skill levels

What do you like best? I like that I can alternate between visual and text editor, as well as add customized widgets. I can customize more than some other platforms but the platform also works well for newer users. Different logins make authorship easy as well as creating restricted access for non-admin roles. What do you dislike? I wish there was an easier way to find the best plugins. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use ...
