When properly used, it's the best CMS solution
What do you like best? It provides a wonderful CMS framework for powering stable, secure and performant websites that are easy for customers to update themselves. What do you dislike? It has a bad reputation as being insecure, poorly performant, and unstable. When people say that "WordPress" is any of these things they are actually speaking about their hosting provider, plugins in use, or the developer that haphazardly configured their site without quality and standards in mind. ...

Wordpress - too powerful for its own good
What do you like best? I like that wordpress is open-source and that you can completely customize a website if you have unlimited time and resources. There are many SEO tools that will help your site show up in search engines. There are many unique plug-ins, anything you want you can find. What do you dislike? There are a lot of alerts in red when things are not to wordpress's liking on the back-end, mostly with SEO. Since these are recommended SEO guidelines based on google's ...

Great for Beginners
What do you like best? When I started using WordPress for the first time, I had pretty much no experience with content management or blogging platforms. It turns out that this was not a problem. You do not need to know any HTML, as the tags are built into the software. Just hit the right buttons, and all the tags are automatically put in for you, which saved me a TON of time compared to my previous experience, where I had to copy/paste the HTML tags. What do you dislike? Despite the ...

Best CMS on the market
What do you like best? WordPress has done so many things right, the WordPress platform combines a easy to use system with endless flexibility and a strong community of developers. What do you dislike? My only critique would be that it is a little difficult to build out a custom site with modules that deviate from the standard page/blog/portfolio system, but that’s when you just go all custom Recommendations to others considering the product There is a little bit of a learning curve ...

Wordpress review
What do you like best? Wordpress by far has been the best of its class; its functionality, ease of use and ability to add/change plugins allows me to create websites very quickly. I am self-taught, and as a result have had the opportunity to manage websites for several businesses. Whenever I need help with a certain function or feature, the Wordpress community typically has exactly what I need. Having used other website services, Wordpress outdoes them all. What do you dislike? I ...

Solid Platform for Beginners and Pros
What do you like best? WP is really easy to setup and has tons of free themes and plugins to get your site up for almost nothing. What do you dislike? Security is an issue. These sites need constant updating which can often lead to further issues since all of the opensource plugins don't always play well together. Recommendations to others considering the product I would upgrade the wordpress.org marketplace. There are so many plugins, but it's still tough to filter and sort ...
