Not the best CMS

What do you like best? WordPress does give you many customization options, but I find the learning curve to be too burdensome for someone wanting a simple and clean CMS. What do you dislike? Again, the learning curve is a lot larger than many other CMS options that are available today. I can see how WordPress would be very overwhelming to new users. Recommendations to others considering the product Look around to see if there are other CMS sites that meet your requirements without ...

A platform with unlimited potential

What do you like best? Wordpress installs easily and can be customised without knowing any code. Whether you want to install plugins or modify the websites appearance it is really easy using the dashboard. I big part of investing in a platofrm like this is being able to learn how to use it and that is All if this functionality is also free which is amazing. What do you dislike? It is difficult to fault Wordpress, however, it can start to become complex as you try to add more and ...

Easiest Place to Launch a Website

What do you like best? The ability to manage multiple pages from an intuitive UI not requiring any complex coding. Plenty of outside integrations and connections available. What do you dislike? I do not like how multiple users cannot login at the same time with the same username. The drag and drop editors can sometimes be difficult to manipulate around the page for specific locations. You have to go into the code. Recommendations to others considering the product It's a great tool ...

Not intuitive - requires lots of plugins and a developer

What do you like best? There are plenty of third party plugins to get WP to do almost anything you want it to do. What do you dislike? Not intuitive to use at all. Although it was intended to be easy enough for anyone to use, the truth is that for a corporate site It requires a web developer to set up templates. I've spent many hours in frustration. Recommendations to others considering the product If you are considering switching from your marketing automation's hosting service, ...

More than adequate for our company blog

What do you like best? Wordpress is very user-friendly and easy to train others on its use. It does not require any coding skills. What do you dislike? For full customization, you will definitely need coding skills and/or outside help. If you're looking to add features outside of the standard set, it's not as easy as you might think. Recommendations to others considering the product I would suggest really taking a deep dive into what you want your website to be now, as well as in ...

The most affordable, agile CMS for all size businesses

What do you like best? Wordpress has a great CMS. It also is very flexible and has a multitude of available developers who can customize the platform to do just about everything. Even better it is free and open source with tons of free plug ins. What do you dislike? Wordpress can use more eCommerce templates and platform integrations, but they are getting better. Recommendations to others considering the product Find a experienced Wordpress developer to support your needs What ...

This does the job if you want a quick and easy cms

What do you like best? You really can use a Wordpress site for any kind of website. Whether it is a static site or an ever evolving news feed, it's possible. And then I didn't even mention the endless plugin-possibilities. What do you dislike? As a developer, the codebase is something unique and something to get your head around. One might say it's bad coding, but hey: it does the job this way and since a long time. Recommendations to others considering the product Go for it, but ...

Great website platform

What do you like best? The best part of WP is the ability to customize the product to meet your needs. This product can be used by the most novice of users and grow to be complex. For our company, our website was built on WP but then after a few months, it was brought back in-house. It has been an easy transition due to WP's customer service and vast knowledge base. What do you dislike? HTML knowledge is a must. In order to have a fully customizable site, you have to have someone who ...

Easy blogging platform

What do you like best? I find the platform to be very easy to use, esp for those who might not have ever used coding software or other tools. I think that it offers a level of intuitiveness for many things. As someone who just wants to go in and do a post, the software is simple. I can easily write and come back to edit, add embelleshments or accents. I can also have multiple users and not disrupt the nature of the platform. I do find the widgets at first to be a bit intimidating but ...

Wish Photographs Were Easier to Drop in Posts
