Blogging software so good it looks like a pro designed your website.

What do you like best? I really like the ease of use of WordPress. The dashboard is pretty intuitive, and if not, pretty easy to pick up. Templates give you plenty of options for themes, and inserting digital media could not be easier. The "Press This" feature allows me to post any article or website I'm currently visiting, meaning there is no excuse not to have a fresh and current blog. What do you dislike? The older version allowed me much more control in layout. HTML editing is now ...

Wordpress For Everything!

What do you like best? Wordpress is by far the best platform for creating simple, easy to use sites for yourself or clients What do you dislike? As much as it pains me to say it, wordpress security is flawed and is always being attacked. I've had so many sites attacked because they're on wordpress so sometimes I avoid it all together as much as I'd rather use it. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Wordpress helps me build sites ...

Great CMS and Development Platform

What do you like best? It's been an incredibly easy to learn system. Most of my client sites are built in Wordpress and i've been able to easily learn how to change designs, add pages, change menus and add content. What do you dislike? It does make things seem so easy but certain aspects of the site you could get into a lot of hot water without a dev background, like editing themes and widgets. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Happy Wordpress user since 2004

What do you like best? I have taught many people, even those who 'aren't techie' to use Wordpress. It is very easy to use and start out with AND it is extremely full-featured and configurable to just about any type of site and functionality. What do you dislike? The temptations of plugins. Sometimes all of the moving parts (plugins, themes do not play well together, which requires troubleshooting time. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure to find a hosting ...

Great platform for websites and blogs!

What do you like best? Wordpress is fairly easy to use with many capabilities. They have so many plugins for just about anything you need. It's such a well known and used platform that it's quite easy to find developers and designs who have worked with wordpress. What do you dislike? Prepare for a lot of manual labor, discussion board scrolling and headache. Recommendations to others considering the product If you need a basic website, I would look to one of the ...
