Easy to create and publish content

What do you like best? I work in QA and one of our partner sites utilizes Wordpress to have us publish their content. It's easy to use, easy to navigation the interface and to publish content immediately. With our other publishing sites we have to push the sites from staging to production and do regression testing. Wordpress is live immediately. What do you dislike? I would compare, of the software we use, that WordPress is somewhat like our landing page creator, ion. I think that ion ...

Great Customization with So Many Themes Available

What do you like best? There are quite a few companies out there designing themes for all types of business. It was easy for me to locate a them I liked and then input my own information and images to customize it with what I would consider to be "intermediate" level of experience with web design. What do you dislike? Because there are so many companies producing the different themes the instructions for customizing the themes rely on how thorough the company decides to be when ...

Anything Goes

What do you like best? Anything you can think of, there's something WordPress can provide for you, often at no or minimal cost. The flexibility leaves it up to you to learn as much or as little as you need to customize your site. There are lots of resources out there to help you learn, but the limiting factor is oftentimes the user and not WordPress itself. What do you dislike? Since the onus is on the user to learn as much as they can, the confusing nature of web design, hosting, ...

Wordpress Review

What do you like best? I like that WordPress is easy to work with and to update my website without having to depend on a designer. What do you dislike? That it needs a lot of plugins to get all the options you want. Recommendations to others considering the product I would recommend WordPress to those who want a very customizable website. It' is easy to use and easy to train other users. The fact that you have to use plugins to customize is a deterrent, however, once implemented the ...

So easy to set up a professional looking website or blog

What do you like best? I love using Wordpress for creating all blog related websites or simple professional-looking landing pages. There are a lot of templates you can choose from, of which some you can even edit to a good extend. Their offering of plugins is neverending and even that can be tweaked. Also, some of my clients have used analytics as well in Wordpress which was really helpful too. So I'm glad they offer that. If you want to try out yourself, without the Wordpress ...

More people should use it, honestly.

What do you like best? Being able to hand off fully-functional sites to clients and have them fully understand how it works is a blessing. What do you dislike? In terms of the software, very little. Being PHP based, there is still a great deal of legacy code for developers to deal with, but that's being phased out. A lot of security stuff comes through plugins, too, which takes more configuration. Recommendations to others considering the product It's far more than a blogging ...

Wordpress, a comprehensive tool for any online presence

What do you like best? The extensibility of WordPress is by far its key feature, not to mention the fact that it is truly cross platform. What do you dislike? Honestly speaking there is very little to dislike about Wordpress. Its an open source solution, that has some commercial add-ons (very well and reasonably priced I hasten to add. There is a slight learning curve if you've never used it before; but the plethora of guides available, not to mention the intuitive nature of the ...

Great for custom websites

What do you like best? I really enjoy the UI. It's layout is very informative, useful, and offers a wide variety of options depending on what deal you have set up with the company. I also like how the themes are such of wide variety to choose from and what they have to offer depending on what you're trying to promote and put out on the internet. What do you dislike? I haven't found any flaws so far. I haven't used it that much. I guess the only thing I'd suggest is to make it maybe a ...
