WordPress.org offer great community support
What do you like best? I love that other members are always willing to jump in and help resolve any issues. What do you dislike? While WordPress CMS is free, it's frustrating that in spite of users repeatedly, and for years, complaining about an issue with WordPress, that problem normally never gets changed or updated. Oftentimes plugins are created, but they don't always work. It would be nice if some of the issues were resolved so one did not have to work at hard coding extensions or ...

Great for freedom, but a bit of a learning curve
What do you like best? WordPress is great for websites, blogging and even ecommerce--but you need some help with figuring out how to use it. It's not out of the box like Wix, but when you get the hang of it, it's really great. What do you dislike? Could be a bit more user-friendly (for us noobs: What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? To have a blog and (soon-to-be, again ecommerce store with greater flexibility

What do you like best? the dashboard is so intuitive, for having a solid framework for our business website that gets updated frequently its definitely my favorite part of wordpress What do you dislike? i think some of the plugins integrated with in the dashboard are annoying, sometimes it makes the framework run slower and messes up the customized parts of the site if you're not careful Recommendations to others considering the product great product, 100% recommend, reliable and ...

Wordpress is easy to use and has tons of options for website development
What do you like best? I like that it is really easy to use their CMS tools and that have a ton of plugin options to meet your needs. What do you dislike? Great overall
What do you like best? Editing capabilities not hindered by "what you see is what you get" features. A lot of the other editors I've had to use for at places of employment are catering toward people who don't actually know anything about designing websites, which can actually make things more difficult if you do know what you're doing. WordPress is designed for both experienced users and novices to be able to use the system effectively. What do you dislike? I wish it was easier to ...

Not My Go-To
What do you like best? Wordpress is good if you are building a website for a client who needs it to be very easily editable on their end. It is easy for them to update content without accidentally messing up your design. What do you dislike? It's a bit clunky to use, and the design is not nearly as good as Squarespace (my go-to, or even Wix. I prefer more design control, which I guess makes sense as I am a graphic designer. Recommendations to others considering the product I would ...

Intuitive Website Platform
What do you like best? A very simple to use platform for developing webpages. Can handle detailed functions of a website, and also can automate certain functions. The backend is pretty easy to use as well, once you set up a template or a structure of a page it's very simple just to plug in your new information and post. What do you dislike? Sometimes, there are certain things with the structure of the site that I wish I could just change for one webpage. For example, I wish I could ...
