I wish there themes were stronger for business use, but they have some usefulness when it comes to personal sites and blogging. Impressed with WordPress
What do you like best? I like the ease of using WordPress as overall it is a user friendly program. I am able to submit my blogs each week extremely quickly as there are no delays or complicated steps to submitting. It's easy for others to view as well. What do you dislike? Although this is a wonderful program and overall easy to use, it did take me quite a few tries to figure out how to actually submit and edit my blog. Again, it is simple once you learn, but there was no training ...

A great CMS for custom websites
What do you like best? I really like how WordPress is completely flexible and can be built to suit any client's needs. What do you dislike? I dislike the learning curve for clients to use and maintain their own websites. It's a robust system that can offer a lot, but with that comes a tradeoff—more time spent training. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am designing and developing custom websites with WordPress, offering my ...

WordPress - a way to introduce yourself to CMS?
What do you like best? The flexibility, huge community, rich plugins database made WordPress a standard synonym for the content management system. I personally think that it represents the whole CMS industry. What do you dislike? What I mostly encounter while working with WordPress customers - HTTP error 500 which is caused by a faulty plugin or a design theme most of the times. The person who has a website created on WordPress doesn't always necessarily know how to develop in PHP and ...

Great with experience
What do you like best? I like that Wordpress is pretty intuitive to use. I don't have a lot of experience with web design, and it has still been fairly easy to get around and understand. I think with some more training, I would like Wordpress even more and feel more confident and comfortable. What do you dislike? There are a lot of tabs and features that aren’t named exactly what I would think. As someone without a ton of website experience, it isn’t always user friendly. ...

A perfect platform for our shop's website
What do you like best? The high number of available plug-ins, plus the wide variety of themes. What do you dislike? Not being able to change HTML/CSS on a theme's page. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it for our shop's website. It was very easy to set up and it remains easy to maintain/update.

Takes some work to learn but worth it 10 times out of 10
What do you like best? The fact that it is available as an open source platform for anyone to use for free is on its own a reason to switch. I appreciate how everything is compartmentalized within plugins, themes, and child themes for easy troubleshooting without causing long term headaches with your site (you can turn things off and on without consequence What do you dislike? For support, you are basically left to your own troubleshooting devices to get things up and running. ...

WordPress is the only CMS I ever recommend
What do you like best? I love the simplicity and ability to customize the system to every site's needs. I have used WordPress at multiple organizations, and it is very easy to add and remove features relevant to each website. What do you dislike? It does take a developer or site designer to add and remove some features on the back end, so at times I have to request this from my IT team. I would rather be able to handle everything in the Marketing or Content department. ...
