Money blocked for almost 1 month

My account of Wirex has been under periodic review for almost 1 month now (since 15th of December) i have got 3 tickets to them which they marked as resolved but i still cannot get my money out. I have 2k euro there which is my whole months pay and i cannot afford to lose it. Very disappointed with Wirex.

Very disappointed with Wirex. After few years of being using Wirex they deeply disappointed me. I made a withdrawal of $27 (which was a transfer into a external wallet) and they charged me $105 Yes, the withdrawal was $27 and the transaction fee was $105 I emailed the customer service regarding this matter and they replied to me saying that is normal. Balance refund not received

Hello Wirex Following the closure of my Wirex account on 14/12/2023 and having a credit balance, you asked me for my bank details for the return of my funds and since then I have still not received my refund. I saw the advertisement that you can get %8 cash back. I opened an account and activated my card & when I transferred some money to be able to use the cashback offer, my account got locked, tried to call the number provided back on the card last 2 days - but no one answered- Sent several emails with ticket no :(5728232 & 5729901), No resolutions &still unable to get into my account and don't know when can I get my money back ? It's very strange

Good for saving, but horrible for trading

Good for saving, but horrible for trading. If you want to save money it is ideal. But with 3% commission in exchange and commissions per trade, it is not worth for day or short term trading

Hi Wirex It has been 2 weeks now that my account was restricted and after I write a review they unrestricted today. After I did the btc transfer to my own wallet today, they refused to let the transfer go through and they restricted again my account and there is still no reply from them regarding my issue. This is so unprofessional,I can not have access to my funds and it seems that they control everything even in my WIREX app. I can not transfer neither btc neither can withdraw my money ...

No support help at all

I created an account with Wirex more than 3 month ago, as well as provided all necessary documents the app asked for. However, the account still in "verifying". I created several tickets in the system to check how it goes... but still no reply. All of the tickets weren't even moved into "Progress" status and still in "Opened" for 3 month. Unfortunately, the bank is almost dead according to how the support works.

wirex, it's just thieves. you put my transaction of €560 on hold, validate the €2 transaction, then you restricted my account then blocked my money, and for a month's loan you have been unable to reimburse me. This is theft . each time you respond with the same waiting message. band of thief I am going to file a complaint with the FCA They may have stopped paying

Unresponsive/ non existent customer service

It has been the most frustrating customer service experience. Account was closed without an explanation beyond that policy was breached- how exactly? That’s fine other platforms to utilize however it was closed on day of a transfer and it has since been 1.5 months without a response from the team as to when the funds will be recovered/returned.
