As for today June 16th, nothing changed: account still blocked since May 30th, no clue of what Wirex is looking for, no idea on when I will access my money again. What authority is saying you need to verify your account again with source of funds? When Wirex is saying this cannot be done in the UK!! They are working on this but will my money be locked for months or years!

Wirex is a scam
Wirex is a scam, they will take away your Wirex tokens without notifying you nor giving an explanation, and when you complain they promise to "make an exception" and return what they took, but never DO return what they stole, also they are offering a chance to win money if you give them a 5-star rating.

I have 100$ wirex in wirex app and can’t withdraw it , try talking to their contact centre and after 1 hour going through answering bot rabbit holes found out I need to deposit another 200$ to be able to withdraw my 100$ . Wirex policy !!! Not sure even after that gonna be able to withdraw it

WIREX STOLE MY MONEY AND THEY DONT WANT TO GIVE ME BACK
It's over 7 months now that wirex held my money for no reason...I have sent series of messages and they are not still giving me my money back..this is ridiculous and sad. I'm planning to take a legal action against them immediately. I have given them enough time.

Problems closing account, does not follow EU GDPR regulations
Asked for my account to be disabled and personal data to be deleted according to EU regulations. They said they would delete all my data, but wouldn't be able to contact me to tell me they completed the request since they wouldn't have my email address anymore. So I just deposited 1300 euro because I need them right now and right after my account gets suspended and I need to provide address proof. ??? Maybe you should consider asking for that before people deposit. It’s not like I deposited money for just having it suspended!!! I don’t even have the option to provide what your asking. This is by far the worst experience ive ever had in financial apps. when i made a deposit, they immediately froze the account. asking for a source of funds document. i submitted their request within a few minutes, they said verification can last for a maximum of 24hrs. well it has been over 2 weeks now and the account is still frozen!! did i mention i required the funds the same day as i deposited them? i expected being able to withdraw them and i have had to sleep outside for 2 weeks now ...
