Quick and painless video conferencing, nice interface
What do you like best? The ease of use, quick setup of whereby is great! I love the fact that participants have to knock to enter a room if it's set up that way. This is nice as I can keep the room open and let people in as needed. What do you dislike? Limited amount of other participants with the free account. Limited screen sharing. Only one room. Recommendations to others considering the product: Consider going pro if you need to do more rooms, have more callers, etc. ...

Ease of Use
What do you like best? Its very easy to use and runs smoothly. Best video conferencing web app in my opinion. Sound quality is also awesome. What do you dislike? I don't dislike anything, it's lightweight, has no ads and never crashes Recommendations to others considering the product: Replace whatever video conferencing app you are using with this. You will thank me later. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it for ...

Great alternative to Google Hangouts for team meetings
What do you like best? Multi user join, no need to account, anyone can join using the link What do you dislike? Claiming private rooms, when conferencing with >2 screens, can't select 2 top screens in full size, today it's only limited to 1 Recommendations to others considering the product: None What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Team meeting, as well as 1 to 1 meetings and external meetings. We used Skype but Skype was ...

Video confrencing made easy!
What do you like best? Ease with which teams can colaborate via video confrence and a no nonsense UI. What do you dislike? Not very widely recognized in developing countries. Needs to be introduced to the developing world and programs promoting work from home business models should be marketed to major companies What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Previously we used to use skype and most people did not like to use their personal ...

Very flexible and user friendly
What do you like best? I like that it does not ask for emails from anyone you are inviting to a chat. I like that you can customize the URL of your chat room. I like that customer support is easily accessible. I like that you can add branding to your chat rooms to customize it to your brand. What do you dislike? I noticed that the video does freeze but not anymore than Skype of other video chatting platforms. Also, when someone is "knocking" to try to enter a room, they're name or ...

It's awesome! When it's working as expected...
What do you like best? Let'e be honest, Appear.in PRO provides a LOT of value for a simple and not so big a fee. Even the free version is great. What do you dislike? It's not stable. We experienced different issues from people in the room not being able to communicate between themselves (2 people could, other 2 people could, but the 4 of them no) to issues with screen sharing. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use it and support it to make it better. If ...

Easy seamless video conferencing tools!
What do you like best? Whereby is simple to use with no downloads or plugins required. You can customize your own link and I prefer it over Zoom What do you dislike? I don’t like the fact they don’t have an option to disable your camera before joining a call as the video automatically switches on. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our team is situated globally and most of our discussions take place on whereby.

Amazing Service
What do you like best? Screensharing is the absolute best. I work in a position where my colleagues are very visual, so being able to point out what I'm seeing is critical for us to communicate with each other. What do you dislike? There are not many complaints for Whereby. Sometimes we have errors but they are mostly connection errors, never the server itself. Recommendations to others considering the product: This is great for internal and external meetings. I actually used ...

Whereby (formerly appear.in): fast, easy web-conferencing.
What do you like best? Whereby is unique since it is entirely browser-based web-conferencing. The conversation lives in your browser in real-time. It is easier for my clients to use even if they have no virtual conferencing experience. What do you dislike? You can't call in from a phone without using an external work-around to patch the caller in. Recommendations to others considering the product: Take advantage of the low-cost trial and see for yourself how well your ...

Easy service but with glitches
What do you like best? Love that I can access it quickly and without going into an app, like that I can send a direct link to our clients, like that I can view many different angles and mute other users. What do you dislike? it can be glitchy- a lot of our clients log on regularly and there must be a bug in the system that when you refresh you have to renter the room name by manually, there can be some odd lag times. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make ...
