Wave pros and cons

  • Provides free accounting tools and features, making it an accessible option for small businesses and freelancers with tight budgets.

  • Easy to use interface that simplifies invoicing, expense tracking, and recurring billing for users without an accounting background.

  • Automates key accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, recurring invoices, and transaction categorization, saving time and effort.

  • Integrates with bank accounts and imports transactions efficiently, streamlining financial tracking.

"Excellent Website for Small Business Accounting "

What do you like best about Wave? Wave is free! It allows me to create professional invoices for my business and keep track of who has paid and who I still need to collect from. Wave makes tax time much easier for me because I can find all my business related income and expenses in one easy to use place. They also feature recurring invoices which is very beneficial to me as I no longer have to keep track of remembering and sending them myself.

"Intuitive, easy to navigate, and free!"

What do you like best about Wave? Wave is really easy to use and set up. The learning curve to familiarize myself with the software was really short; I was comfortable with it after a few hours. The companion apps - Wave Receipts and Wave Invoices - are really useful. I have a partner (non-business), and all she has to do is take a picture of any receipts with the app... and I can do the rest.

"Wave -- Perfect for the Eager Entrepreneur"

What do you like best about Wave? Wave has a clean interface that is easy to navigate and visually pleasing as well. I especially like that you are able to use one program for *multiple* businesses, in addition to personal records. This is great because you can switch between businesses with a simple click instead of having to run multiple programs or log in and out of various accounts. I have recommended this product to several friends because it's been such a great tool.

"A QuickBooks Alternative for FREE!"

What do you like best about Wave? I love that a powerful, cloud- based piece of tech is free, unlike Quickbooks which is expensive to many small businesses. If you run a variety of other businesses you have the ability to create a new entity within the same Wave account. It allows you to choose the accounts related to your business such as main dashboard, transactions, receipts, accounting, reports, bill pay, integrations with almost every bank, and also allows you to track your ...

"Wave for accounting for our small business"

What do you like best about Wave? Wave has a lot of great features that have worked well for the small business that I run with my husband. Their invoices are very customizable and easy to create, and I appreciate the reoccurring invoice feature. We have been able to keep our accounts reconciled. The dashboard gives a really good at-a-glance look at income and expenses.
