Visual studio is simply the most famous programming software in the world.

What do you like best? The thing I like most about the studio is its ease of use once you are an expert in this software, you can really create the program you want anyway. personally I use Visual studio 2008 and now I send you the 2015 version I noticed a clear improvement in the performance of this software. usually I program in a Net Core or 4.0 framework And I have to admit that I find it very well the program never stops and in the latest versions a tool is also available that ...

Great development tool with built in CI CD integration

What do you like best? Being able to use other version controlling features and CI, CD and git features inbuilt. What do you dislike? When debugging sometimes that tool get interrupted. If something takes more than 5 seconds to debug that debugging tools throw an error most of the time. Im currently using 2017 edition Recommendations to others considering the product: It is highly reccomended due to its capability of highlevel intellisence, code formatting skills, ease of use of ...

Great experience using Visual Studio, but time intensive

What do you like best? UI and the ability to use any framework is what I like best about Visual Studio What do you dislike? Solution containing multiple projects takes very long to load. Building the project also takes very long. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It has helped me a lot in building .NET Core apps quickly and efficiently.

a perfect development tool

What do you like best? studio 2008 And since then I've never found a more reliable program for creating software. since 2008 I have now added many different types of projects, for example now it is possible to create Android apps (even if this point of view is not very high performing). Microsoft with this product has always envisaged an effective Tool update which makes available to the programmer who is going to use it. not to mention the fact that it is possible to customize ...

Visual studio (2017 and earlier)

What do you like best? I have been working with Visual studio for a few years now and it has been an amazing experience working with it. I have built web apps from scratch and I'm always amazed at the way they work out. What do you dislike? Since Microsoft went open source it's been a pain using the tool. The updates are a pain. I don't need half if the updates to work with what I want to but I have to update it anyways. Recommendations to others considering the product: The 2019 ...

Can work with a number of languages

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Visual Studio Code is probably the best IDE that I have ever used. It can translate and process more languages than any other programs out there. I love that it lets me work on my TypeScript and Python here too. Consolidating my processes saves me a lot of time and effort. The best part? This is a free program. What aspects are problematic or could work better? Sure, Visual Studio Code can work with a slew of languages, but it does ...

The best IDE out there

What do you like best? Visual Studio is really the best IDE for coding. It supports a lot of languages, including C#, VB.NET, F#, Q# but also other non-Microsoft languages such as Java and Ruby. Its powerful connection with Azure makes it my favourite IDE. What do you dislike? Sometimes with non-Microsoft plugins, it slows down the overall performances and you have to deactivate them. Recommendations to others considering the product: Microsoft Learn and Documentation are a great ...
