Visual Studio IDE is an absolute necessity for .NET Development!

What do you like best? I have been using Visual Studio as an IDE for more than 15 years. Its comprehensive feature set is just awesome. A few of my favorites are Intellisense, Continuous Integration, Team Foundation Integration, and so much more! What do you dislike? Honestly, I really don't dislike anything about Visual Studio, however if I had to pick one it'd be that sometimes it doesnt remember my window placement when I close and reopen it. Recommendations to others ...

The best IDE for software developpers

What do you like best? Visual Studio allows users to work more efficiently with a lot of useful extensions and plug-ins and a very efficient code analysis and code autocomplete. The huge community provides a lot of help and support. What do you dislike? Sometimes there are compilation or UI problems that can only be resolved by closing and re-opening the IDE. Recommendations to others considering the product: For those working WITH C#.NET TECHNOLOGIES, Visual Studio is ...

Visual Studio is good platform for coding

What do you like best? I like VS code for coding in it. It has lot of cool features like auto suggestions, dark mode, allow to add more plugins which solves many of our problems and enhance our coding capabilities and increase the speed of deployment or work. What do you dislike? Sometimes it will hang if there is any big program that we are running and it will hang other apps too with it. So i don't like when my system hangs in between. I think this can be solved by the ...

I have 3 years of experience using this tool I use the IDE on daily basis.

What do you like best? The plugin ecosystem is something that I like the most. I am an active user of various plugins including the git and ssh. On another hand, it has seamless integration with various languages and also provides us an opportunity to build a platform on top of it. This is something really cool that I like. What do you dislike? I heavily dislike the fact that it crashes when you try to do an update and don't reload it. The terminal service is the first to crash. It ...

Visual Studio Review

What do you like best? The best I like about is the drag and drop functionality that it provides alongside coding the app as per our needs. This helps eliminate the task of coding each and every thing where we can just drag and drop and use the elements which are readymade/already made or can be obtained from others repositories. We can then focus on the main functionality of that element (what should happen, function, etc). The coding part should be focused on the main requirements and ...

All the tools I need

What do you like best? I like how you can combine all your files into a solution for easy navigation and also run from localhost easily as it sets up the IIS for you with the click of a button. The color coding options make it easy to read the code no matter the language you use (I work mostly in C#). I'm not an advanced user or software engineer by any stretch, but it has all the features I need to to code, compile, and test the websites that I manage. What do you dislike? The ...
