It is an interactive tools that helps in all devlopement activities, be it getting the command line in place, be it finding the errorsor debugging the solution. It is helpful for all kind of application codes front end or back end. The inbuilt source tree makes the interaction with GIT really easy. It is indeed a life saver tool for me.
