Good Tool for Story Management

What do you like best? We used Version 1 for managing Stories and Epics. Version 1 was very handy in Prioritization of backlog and Test Driven Development. What do you dislike? Integration with other tools and Kanban boards. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Problem: Program Backlog management with multiple Product owners. Benefits: With multiple Product owners, Version 1 was a good one stop shop for backlog management

Choose this and nothing else for your Agile management!

What do you like best? Really, truly set up for agile projects, and appears to have been designed from the ground-up. It's very easy to work through each sprint, release, project with flexible hierarchy and rool-up/drill-down capabilities. What do you dislike? We discovered too late that our backlog export was limited. We needed to bring it to our new company after an acquisition and found out that some fields were truncated. There was no easy way to handle HTML or attachments but ...

Clunky, complicated project management software

What do you like best? Nearly any project question could be answered using the data sources, filters, and reporting provided. Once you're proficient, you can hop around and answer nearly any question you'd like. The best portfolio management tools include parent/child portfolio relationships and the ability to copy tasks. If you're using some form of agile, this software helps you out - we use "scrumban" to PM learning development projects. What do you dislike? It's clunky, ...

Its great!

What do you like best? Its great for portfolio management, business intelligence, and its a very agile tool. Data is retained well in the software and can be easily found. It is web based service so you can essentially access it from anywhere. What do you dislike? Lacks intuitiveness, so basically its not very user friendly and you kind of have to know it to use it. Formatting the text is also not always easy. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Not Intuitive, Not Friendly

What do you like best? As a BA I used VersionOne to write and track user stories on an agile project What do you dislike? Really not an intuitive tool and really not user friendly. I constantly had to call VersionOne SME's to get better direction Recommendations to others considering the product: Use JIRA :) What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Writing and tracking user stories

Complex and Focused On Engineering but Good Reporting

What do you like best? Once a group of users or team adopt VersionOne and populate projects etc, there are great visualizations that can be generated from the data. It takes a lot of work to get to this point but the burn up, burn down, velocity, and other charts are good tools for simplifying large amounts of information for higher ups. What do you dislike? The speed of the web app is...uh, slow. It was very difficult to use especially on our moderate enterprise network. Very ...

Robust Agile Software

What do you like best? I like the fact that the software fulfills all the principles of agile. It has all the bells and whistles like sprint planning etc. What do you dislike? It slows down quite significantly when loading huge amounts of Stories/defects. When reading the story accidental clicks and unclicks cause description of story to be change. Images flow out of screen sometimes. Recommendations to others considering the product: It has all the bells and whistles that an ...
