A really good system but I am still learning how to use it.
Vend is a really good system for capturing sales info and also customer management. I am new to learning Vend - we had only done transactions manually before getting Vend. It is really helping and the best thing is the support we have received - I am so glad we paid for support. I have a personal contact who has been very helpful by email and by phone. Thanks Monique!

I like VEND so much now, i would use it for every outlet i open in future. Only thing i didnt like is-- at my existing outlet i use an imac to take payments but also use a ipad to take bookings when they arrive but i still have to pay extra $25 for using the iPad. After all i only use it to take bookings.

relatively easy to use
Vend is reasonably easy to use. There are a number of improvements that could be made. Specifically import / export of data. A field mapping option would make it easier to use similar to Xero's imports of data. As a certified partner, it is in my interest that the product develops further with improved user interface and back end functionality. A partner portal, again similar to Xero would be great to have. I do recommend Vend to many of my clients.

Regretable
In theory Vend is a good product but its implementation was compromised by two issues. The Vend "Partner" did a very poor job and a month after it was due to finish she is still rectifying faults with the original set up. The other aspect is the support notes. Most purchasers are not tech people and need a very simple set of instructions in step by step format. Good Inventory and Sales Management, Horrible POS with payapl
I really liked how easy it was to add product and syncing with our webstore in magento through Vortex has been pretty great... but in terms of using the POS the time we save with inventory management has been reverse by how difficult it is to make a transaction in vend with the integrated paypal. 60% of the time the payapl here system has an error and we have to run the transacaiton in Square or worse... we accidentaly run the same transaction twice, which considering our average ...

Freakin' Love Me Some Vend
Vend, without meaning to speak in hyperbole's, has genuinely transformed our business. All of its features and integrations have quadrupled our efficiency, giving us time to focus on how to grow and not knee deep in paper work. Perfect for any small business and I recommend it to anyone starting a new business.

The product keeps getting better and better
It's amazing to tie inventory into a physical store so simply. You can set every last bit of your products up using a csv file that is easily navigable and publish them right to shopify. I add my pictures in shopify and am good to go! The usability and the customer relationship management is super simple as well. All in all, I can't recommend it enough. Quite good but with little effort could be great
I have been using system for 15 months now and in some ways it is very good. Ie. ease of customer registration, quick keys (big drawback though, not enough pages) but in others it is rubbish - notably printing of receipts (a4). I really wanted a cloud based system to be able to use when I am out selling at customers and connectivity is good. The iPad app is rubbish and interferes with your wifi such that it makes your printers unusable, however safari is ok so just stick to that ...

Ready, Set, Roll
Though a good experience, it's not without it's drawbacks. Very easy to use, very basic. However on the administrative end, I'm having problems moving between screens. When I enter stock, I have to go back to the main page to enter the next item. Very time consuming when you have 30+ items to enter weekly. Also even though I "save" after an edit, the program will not acknowledge the change until you log out of the program completely. Again very time consuming. We have customers enter an ID ...
